The master bedroom features a bolt lock, allowing it to be locked from the inside. Armchair.brbrA Twin/Children's bedroom is made available when you book for 3 or 4 guests.brThis is officially a Children's bedroom, but has had more adults stay in it than children; Sailors, Walkers, Cyclists etc & other adults, including many elderly, but it's probably not ideal for very elderly or infirm guests staying for many nights. I'm 6 ft 2 and weigh 16 stone and have spent many a comfortable night in them.brbrALL bedrooms & the main bathroom have a garden and sea view.brbrInflatable Canoe is available too (use at your own risk, but it's only 2 years old and has 2 lifejackets).brbrThe Patio has a Table that can easily fit 4 people around it, a Chiminea and a small BBQ. There are 6 director chairs for the patio table in total, so you can fit more if you want. There are also 2 sun beds and 2 beach/garden seats/chairs in the potting shed for garden or beach sunbathing.brbrIt's exactly a 17-minute walk from the RedJet high-speed ferry terminal. Just walk along the high street for 5 minutes, then along the parade, then down the beach, then you're here :)brbrThe space:brbrTraditional English country cottage with a lovely garden with views down to the beach and the sea (Solent).brbrUpstairs:brbrThree bedroomsbrbr- Very large Master Double Bedroom with a KING-SIZE bed for you, with its own sink and is also adjacent to your exclusive bathroom, so it's pretty much an 'en-suite'. The bedroom includes a Mini Kettle for Tea and Coffee. Four Towels. Hairdryer. The bolt lock is lockable from the inside. It also has an armchair so you can sit at the window and look down over the garden to the beach. You can see the beach and the sea from your pillows too :).brbr- One smaller bedroom/study perfect for up to 2 children, adolescents, sailors, walkers, cyclists, or any adults happy with smaller single beds, but probably not very elderly or infirm people for many nights, even though many elderly guests have happily stayed in them and I'm 6 ft 2 and weigh 16 stone and in my mid 50s and have spent many a comfortable night in them.brbr- One double bedroom is mine since I live here normally, BUT I do vacate for VRBO guests who want the place to themselves. Just let me know a week or more before your arrival so I can plan accordingly.brbr- Bathroom for your exclusive use, with a modern, spacious shower enclosed with a screen (no bath). Sink, W.C., Airing/Drying Cupboard, Ironing board and iron. This bathroom is next door to the master bedroom, and since you have exclusive use, it's pretty much 'en-suite'.brbrGround floor:brbr- Kitchen - Brand new kitchen with four induction hobs plus one separate big induction hob, brand new oven and a separate combined microwave/oven unit. Kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine (Tumble dryer is in the guest bathroom cupboard).brbr- Dining room with 4 chairs, a big sofa, and a chaise longue. If not, then that set-up will be for just your first night since I won't be around to relay the table, etc., etc. There's also a mini-kettle in the master bedroom with two mugs and tea bags, sugar, etc.brbrIf you're interested in booking Cliffside for a larger group (5 or 6 guests) then message me to discuss options. brbr ********** NEW FOR 2023 **********brbr- New!brModern, stylish kitchen with all facilities.brbr- New!brThe downstairs corridor has been brought to the front of the house (it was at the back), so there's more light & warmth at the front of the house into the kitchen and dining room, and a more natural flowing corridor from the front doorway into the hall, then kitchen and then onto the dining room.brbr- New!brWater system, much more efficient than before, with brand new boiler & water tank/cylinder and pipes, so water is now always hot & heating heats up fast.brbr- New!brDownstairs bathroom, which means the main upstairs bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom is now essentially 'en-suite' for the sole use of guests.brbr- New!brGravel Pathway.brbr- Newly!brDecorated Master Bedroom & Dining Room & misc improvements & adjustments, such as making the master bedroom lockable from the insidebrbr- New!brCarpets on the stairs & the upstairs hall/corridor (downstairs carpets have all been machine cleaned).brbr- New!brThe garden patio wall has been rebuilt and re-painted & the patio paving stones have been pressure-washed clean.brbr- New!brNew smoke & CO2 alarms have been fitted as well as a full gas safety inspection, resulting in achieving the CP12 Gas Safety Certification.brbr*********CAR FERRY DISCOUNTS / VOUCHERS**********brbrI have some Red Funnel Car Ferry Discount codes/vouchers (20% off) available for guests who book 3 or more nights.
