This stately harbour front residence was built with family vacations, relaxing in luxury, natural light, water sports and entertaining in mind. Creating a sense of place was of the upmost importance to the architect, interior designer and builder of Wind Whistle. brAs one enters the property via the private, gated, tree lined driveway into the lush tropical gardens of Wind Whistle sloping towards the harbour and house, there is a true sense of privacy and sanctuary. There is a spacious parking area and covered cart port one passes as approaching the front door where the guests first view upon entering is directly through the house to the lawns, pool, harbour and north Eleuthera beyond. brGuests may also arrive via boat (or water taxi) to the Wind Whistle private dock. The dock accommodates vessels up to 45ft. with 30amp, 110v shore power, purified water. The dock is a short 150ft walk up to the house. There are 2 paddle board and a 2-person kayak included with the villa.brThe great room, living and dining rooms all offer an 11-foot coffered ceiling, along with three pairs of French doors leading out to the lower veranda and stunning views of the harbour and Eleuthera in the distance. Guests enjoy the living room with oversized sofa, rattan chairs upholstered in Quadrille fabric and 65-inch smart television. The main dining area offers a bespoke rattan Chippendale dining table with seating for ten guests. There is also an outdoor dining area that seats 6. brOff the great room is an oversized veranda with outdoor bar, wine cooler and sink. Take the steps down to the expansive lawn, teak chaise loungers and pool area.The downstairs master known as “The Imperial Room” offers a king sized 4-posted bed, tray ceiling, and antique dresser and ensuite bathroom and is decorated in the theme of the British colonial era. The other downstairs bedroom known as “The Bahama Room” offers a set of twin beds, tray ceiling, oversized closet and en suite bathroom and is decorated in colorful Bahamas prints and patterns.brUp the grand staircase, one arrives at the upper foyer with a full set of hand made bookshelves on one side. Off the foyer is a 2nd living room with large welcoming couch set, enormous smart TV ideal for movies and sports. The upper living room also offers access to the 2nd floor veranda and views of the harbour. Just off the upper living room is a laundry room with washer/dryer and laundry sink made for convenience in mind.The upper level offers 3 bedrooms; The twin bedded room called ‘Fauna Room” faces west and offers both water views and direct access to the upper veranda. This room offers tray ceiling, walk in closet, a set of twin beds that combine to make a king, and en suite bath. The adjacent bedroom “Flora Room” offers a queen sized bed, tray ceiling and large walk in bathroom with views of the lush gardens and tropical foliage. Last but not least is the master known as “The Governors Suite”. Touchstone's Cottage lies on a 1-acre tropical and expansive property adjacent to the world-famous Pink Sand Beach. TS's Cottage is east of Romora Bay Marina, tucked in just behind the dune and about 100 steps from the beach. You can hear the ocean from the front patio. Incredible upgrades were recently completed at TS's Cottage, such as expanding and resurfacing the front patio with coral stone tiles, creating designated golf cart parking and a landing, an outdoor shower, and a hand-made native Bahamian stone outdoor grilling area, plus more. As for the interiors, the kitchen has been renovated with a large hardwood island with an under-mount basin sink, creating adequate space perfect for family and friend gatherings and meals, a new fridge and a new electric range have also been installed. The living room has new furniture and furnishings, and both bedrooms and bathrooms have been renovated from top to bottom with fresh paint and furnishings. TS's Cottage shares the lush and vast property with the much-admired Touchstone's House (VRBO listing 948739) - the homes are far enough away for total privacy to rent separately yet close enough together to rent as a duo, perfect for large families or groups of friends. Seabreeze is an exceptional rental in a truly exceptional setting. This high-end luxury home with separate guest cottage can be booked either as a 3-bed/3-bath (for up to 6 people) or 5-bed/5-bath rental (for parties of 10). The price quoted here is for booking the main house only. If your party is more than 6 please ask for an updated quotation to include the guest cottage. The additional rental for the guest cottage is $500/ night. The guest cottage is never rented out separately. We have a single rate only for Xmas/New Year. We do try to be flexible on our minimum stay settings so it is ALWAYS worth asking if we can accommodate. For check-in or check-out on a Sunday we add a $200 supplement. brbrThe main house has 3 king ensuite bedrooms (sleeps 6).brThe guest cottage gives you an extra 2 bedrooms (1 king ensuite and 1 twin ensuite)brThe twin beds are trundle beds which gives us the option to pull out 2 more singles, although space will be limited. Sometimes we get requests to see if we can accommodate 11 or 12 - there is no additional charge but it just means we have the pull outs if needed.brbrThe property has a private dock and comes equipped with AC, reverse osmosis water, generator, cable, wi-fi, maid service, and many other amenities. The detached Guest Cottage offers an optional 2 further bedroom en-suites and a private outdoor sitting area which is under a pergola supporting a beautiful array of tropical flowering shrubs.brbrSituated almost on the water's edge Seabreeze has its own private dock with slips to accommodate boats up to 120'. Please ask about dockage fees if you have a boat. Just a short 5-minute cart ride and you can be on the famous Pink Sands Beach where you can take a leisurely walk, jog, swim or just lay back and enjoy paradise. For the evening perhaps a recommended private chef could cook you a delicious supper of locally caught fish or lobster in your own kitchen. Daily direct flights depart from Miami, Ft Lauderdale and Nassau to North Eleuthera Airport. Bahamas Fast Ferries also run a daily return service from Nassau which is a spectacular and exciting way to arrive on 'Briland' as the locals call it.
