Elegant Villa With Private Pool For 2-10 People Tavira

Casa Funda is a large, elegant villa 4 kms from the enchanting town of Tavira with private pool and terraces sitting on 6000sq metres (roughly 1.4 acres) of grounds with olive, carob, orange and lemon trees, bougainvillea, palms and yuccas. It is tailor-made for larger families: two or three families holidaying together, or one family including Granny, Grampy, aunts and uncles. The property has 5 bedrooms, ALL WITH AIR CONDITIONING, one of which is a very large studio flat complete with second kitchen and bathroom and three single beds, attached to the property but with separate entrance. The studio is never let separately. The main house and its 4 bedrooms all have mosquito screens. In the main house there is a large drawing room with flat screen TV and a brand new (as of June 2017) satellite box which gives you all the major UK channels as well as about 200 more! There are screened patio doors to terraces and pool, separate dining room for 12 also with screened patio doors, fully fitted kitchen, master bedroom w/ queen sized bed, screened patio doors + en suite bathroom , family bedroom with double and single bed and en suite bathroom and two twin bedded rooms. There is a third bathroom downstairs. The studio flat, with its own terrace and a very distant view to the sea, has a large bathroom and kitchen.brbrbrAfter buying the house we embarked on a huge landscaping programme and created a second, large, terraced dining area away from the pool and the noise for reading, siestas, etc. We have further landscaped the garden, adding a fountain/pond feature in local stone, with goldfish, and planting more fruit trees, bamboo, bougainvillea etc. There is a once-a-week gardening service and the pool is serviced twice a week in the high season.brbrWe have upgraded the house by installing air conditioning, a huge flat screen television, internet access, new curtains etc. In 2015 I had screens put in for all the windows and doors downstairs. In 2016 the downstairs bathrooms were also screened. In November 2019 we installed a new, electric hot water boiler in the kitchen so no more risk of running out of bottled gas during your stay.
