The sunken trampoline and swing will provide hours of fun. brAn amazing walled garden with raised beds, filled with herbs which you’re welcome to enjoy, sits at the side of the kitchen accessed from the study/boot room and the ground floor double room.brbrChildren must be supervised in the grounds and use of the trampoline and swing are at your own risk.brPLEASE NOTE THAT THIS A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY HOUSE IS IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA SUITED FOR EXTENDED FAMILY HOLIDAYS OR QUIET CELEBRATION WEEKENDS WITH FRIENDS. As you can see, the house is well hidden from the road so it's important that it's alarmed when unoccupied and that the owners can monitor remotely using the cameras.

The sloping ceilings may be challenging for tall guests and there’s a very steep staircase from this room to the family room with a rope across as we recommend using the main staircase instead.brBedroom 4brAt the side of the cottage, this room has floorboards covered by a large rug and a unique 4ft antique bed with bedside drawers. brAs the bed is quite small we consider that it is more suited to single occupancy.brOutsidebrThe house is set back from the road and has a path to the left into the garden and driveway with gate to the right. There's a big patio running along the back with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ (please bring your own charcoal), plus a huge lawn to run around in. Whilst the garden enclosed it is not 100% secure for children or adventurous dogs so please keep an eye on them.brbrThis is a wonderfully quirky period house so be prepared for low ceilings and wonky floors!brONE well behaved dog is welcome but not allowed on furniture or upstairs in the house and please be sure to clean up after them in the garden. There will be an additional charge if the housekeeper has to spend more time cleaning the house or surroundings.

The majority of the house has light oak wooden flooring with carpet in the bedrooms and tiles in the bathrooms.brbrLIVING/KITCHEN/DINING ROOMbrA glass door opens from the hall into this wonderfully light room is cleverly designed for easy living, socialising with friends and family. A sturdy dining table with four chairs sits by the door in front of the kitchen, overlooking the garden, with ample place to store your groceries and integrated Neff oven and ceramic hob with extractor, dishwasher, fridge with five shelves and salad drawer, freezer with two drawers (one classed as a BIG box!), microwave, Nespresso machine (a few will be provided for you), kettle, and toaster.brSurrounding the modern wood burner (bring/buy your own logs etc. please) in the living space are a comfy sofa, couple of retro style chairs and coffee tables with a couple of dressers housing glassware. There's an outside socket for guests with electric vehicles but it's not a full EV charge point. At the back is a big fully enclosed garden with gates on either side of the house leading to the front drive, bordered by a high hedge and fence, and mostly laid to lawn. A wonderful raised deck with lounge seating invites you to relax in the sunshine; and there’s an additional covered patio by the living room which catches the sun in the morning and has a charcoal BBQ on it so you can cook close to the kitchen. Cleverly designed, the open plan living/kitchen/dining room has double doors to the garden so you can cater at home and dine in the fresh air or at the kitchen table, with comfy sofas and a chair at the far end of the room for relaxation. A handsome king size bed takes pride of place in the bedroom where there’s ample room for you to unpack and unwind, and the attractive bathroom has a large shower cubicle and natural light. brbrGreat Glemham is a peaceful village in rural Suffolk, just 15 minutes from the coast, and has the added bonus of a 17th Century Inn serving superb homemade meals and local beers in the cottage garden or by the fire. You may recognise one of the rooms if you were a fan of the television series The Detectorist! Suffolk is the home to two National Cycle Network routes and you can store your own bikes in the shed in Hattie’s garden or hire them from the pub. Equally, there are wonderful footpaths to explore or take the car and discover historic Framlingham, Orford or Woodbridge, and the picturesque coastal towns and villages of Aldeburgh, Thorpeness and Southwold. It is also less than 15 minutes to Snape Maltings.You’re welcomed into an entrance area with hallstand, coat hooks and a picnic basket tempting you to venture outside. Ideal for for a couple or even solo travellers. Suncatch Corner is a beautiful newly renovated holiday let in the popular market town of Saxmundham, only minutes away from the Suffolk Coast. This is a well-equipped property with everything you need to set yourself up with a base to explore Suffolk. brbrA perfect location in the center of the Suffolk Coastal district. With Aldeburgh and Thorpeness only 15 minutes away, Southwold 25 minutes away, Framlingham only 12 minutes away, and Woodbridge onlybrbrYou enter the property into the well equipped kitchen, which comes with everything you'll need during your stay. A full size fridge freezer, oven, and all the usual essentials you'd expect to find plus a washing machine which you can make use of. Additionally, you'll find seating at the round dining table for four just in case you have company. brbrMoving through the property you will find the bedroom on your left where you will find a comfortable double bed made up with luxurious 400 thread count linen and our lovely soft hotel standard towels. You'll be left 2 towels per guest, one bath towel and one hand towel. You'll find the bedroom cozy with the original beams in the ceiling and a softly lit lamp on each side of the bed, perfect for reading. Just after the bedroom, the bathroom will be to your left with a small shower cubicle, toilet and sink basin. This will be stocked with enough toilet rolls to get you started but you may need to purchase more if you're coming for a longer stay.brbrThe living room towards the back of the property is the ideal place to put your feet up after a long day exploring the Suffolk Coast. With it's large sofa you'll have plenty of space to spread out and get comfortable in front of the TV, we have left an HDMI cable there to connect your own devices. There's a small brown pouffe to make use of as well. Again, the lounge benefits from the original beams in the ceiling which adds a touch of class to this property.brbrOne thing to bear in mind is that whilst we allow pets at Suncatch Corner, we don't have a big garden for them to run in it is just the wooden deck area and a concrete yard.brbrPLEASE NOTE: There are currently building works going on nearby until August. This is usually only 9am-4pm on Monday's so should hopefully not cause you too much disruption.

In a quiet area with brilliant walks for our dogs on the doorstep. Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are minutes away. The house is spotless and really cosy, we loved the decoration and it had everything we needed for a home from home stay. We really appreciated the milk, biscuits, bottle of wine and treats for the dogs! Just perfect, thank you!brbrFab cottage with a secure front and rear garden for our dog. Dog walk straight out of the gate too. Cottage was immaculate and extremely well equipped. Beautifully decorated throughout. We felt it was a true home-from-home and very relaxing. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Only 10 minute drive to the coast and lovely places like Thorpness and Aldeburgh. Snape with its internationally renowned music venue, is a 5-minute drive and Latitude Festival at Henham Park is less than half an hour. brbrThe cottage is set on the edge of the town with off-road parking for two cars. It has a private decked area furnished with a table, chairs and a garden sofa so you can make the most of the fresh air and surrounding countryside. The adjacent owners’ garden has fruit trees with apples, plums and various vegetables growing, which they share with guests (seasons and harvest permitting) along with occasional eggs from the chickens, please just ask.
