Rubblestone Cottage is a pretty cottage adjoining Rubblestone farmhouse with a garden for you to relax in and to enjoy the peace of the countryside. Situated in a very peaceful (owners have retired from farming) and pleasant farming countryside, only six miles from Aldeburgh, five miles from Snape Maltings concert hall, five miles from RSPB Nature Reserve at Minsmere and a 15 minute drive from seaside town of Southwold On the edge of the Suffolk Heritage Coast it is an ideal area to discover either on foot, cycle or by car. The Cottage provides comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. On the ground floor there is a sitting room with an electric effect woodburner, television and dvd player, a well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dining area. The little room off the kitchen leads to a shower room with WC. A straight flight of stairs leads to first floor, which has two bedrooms, one a double and the other two single beds. Outside there is ample parking, a small patio area and use of the lawns (with a open pond) also storage for your cycles if required. Rubblestone Cottage is situated 3 miles from the market town of Saxmundham which has a Waitrose and Tesco supermarkets and a host of small shops, cafe's and takeaway restaurants. Heating is included. Unfortunately we can not cater for pets. br Many visitors have enjoyed the cottage over the past twenty years. It has multiple levels, with exposed wooden beams, and 16th century features, yet still has a contemporary and homely feel. brbrThe metal stairs go up to the front door and you step into the entrance hall where there is a rail to hang coats and a shoe rack. This leads into the well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge (with small freezer compartment), microwave, toaster, kettle and cafeteria. There is a table and chairs that seats 4 comfortably.brbrThis leads through to the next levels and there is a door on your right which leads up to the twin bedroom with a skylight, and beyond this there are 2 steps down to the bathroom. The good-sized bathroom has a walk-in shower as well a full-size bath with shower attachment, W/C, sink with cabinet beneath and towel rail. brbrFrom here, another set of stairs lead to the next level, where, on the right is the living room, and on the left is the bedroom. brbrThe living room has a 2 seater sofa and 2 armchairs where you can enjoy a chilled out evening watching TV, reading a book or having a glass of wine or 2 with fish and chips from across the road! brThe bedroom has a double bed, 2 bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The window looks out onto the high street.brbrPlease note for security, the courtyard at the rear is covered by CCTV 24 hours a day.brbrIt is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Suffolk coast and surrounding areas. Alternatively, if you just want to relax, it is the perfect location with all the restaurants and bars within walking distance, as well as Waitrose and Tesco just around the corner.

The owners have fixed a tether ring to the pergola which you can tie a dog lead to if required.brParking: Allocated parking for two cars can be found off the shared gravel drive to the right of the house. There is one bay by the side door for a smaller car (or those skilled at parking bigger cars!) with a larger space further up the drive opposite the double garage. The drive is shared with the next door neighbours and the route through has to be kept clear, so please be respectful and DO NOT park in a way that blocks their way through.
