This new single family home has 2 levels: There is 1 King bedroom (which can be converted to 2 twins upon request) and 1 Queen Bedroom, 1 Comfy Queen Futon in the living room. The kitchen and living room are on the main level with a large veranda. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom and a second large veranda. The upper level leads to the roof top deck with 360 degree views of the island and a Palapa that you can sit under for hours to enjoy the partial ocean view. There are Hammocks under the Palapa as well as chairs for total relaxation. From the Palapa, you will have views, the reef, and distant views of the ocean on the opposite Leeward side of the island too!brbrThroughout are modern island finishes, cool tiled floors, Belizean hardwood ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, washing machine, Flat screen TV/DVD, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a large swimming pool with loungers. Our small private enclave decided to build a swimming dock/platform for your morning/afternoon most enjoyable dip in the sea. You can sit at the end of the dock and watch the reef break just offshore. Underwater tropical fish are a daily event at the dock. If you are traveling on your own boat, you may reserve a spot at your dock if staying in the enclave.brThe pool is 33'x15' wide with a Belizean hardwood wrap around deck. There are several chaise lounge chairs with cushions to sit by the pool and relax to recharge your batteries for your next adventure. Beyond the sliding glass doors is a wonderful over sized deck with seating for at least 8 people. Your million dollar views are included in the nightly rental rate!!!!brbrThe whole unit has beautiful Belizean hardwood ceilings throughout. There is a TV in the living room and the kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils you should need and yes there is a Blender!! We have washer/dryer in the units and a safe for valuables. The bathrooms are all stocked with plush bath and hand towels as well as wash cloths and beach towels. WiFi is free, secure and throughout all the buildings.brbrThere is Air Conditioning in every room however the breeze from the ocean is more than sufficient to keep you cool.brbrFor your swimming needs we have built a large pool and deck that sits behind the buildings. Loungers with padded cushions are plentiful and the pool is 5 feet deep. In addition we have put out a sea wall to add a beach like frontage from which extends a 250 foot long dock with a large swim and sunbathing platform at the end and a huge shady palapa. Our previous properties have proven that the dock is our guests favorite place to hang out although the size of the new pool and deck may compete for attention!!brWe rent island bikes for $7.50 US per day/per bike and the paddle boards are free! Located at the West End of our private pool, Barbara's is a three bedroom house, situated perfectly to ensure that you can enjoy the best that our quiet secluded lot has to offer while still having easy access to the airstrip or the main town of Caye Caulker which is just a 5-10 minute bike ride or a 10-15 minute walk away.brbrThe interior of Barbara's has a traditional island feel, built throughout with the beautiful hardwoods that Belize is known for. Floors, ceiling and furniture all reflect this craftsmanship, a perfect compliment to the palm trees and sun outside your door. The layout works for either a family or a group of friends and has two bedrooms with King beds and a full bath downstairs; a more private Master Suite upstairs, with two twin beds that convert into a king if you prefer, again with its own full bath.brbrAll beds have pillow top mattress pads and are super comfy the sheets are 400 thread count, and the towels and beach towels are plentiful, thick and lush. If needed, there are two futons in the living room for those who would prefer not to share beds. The living area features an open floor plan that includes a modern kitchen, supplied with any appliance you may need, there is a washing machine and clothesline The dining area and lounge area has a flat screen TV, movie library, Netflix, wi-fi and games.brbrAs you leave the house passing by the front deck that features ocean views and both hammocks and chairs to relax in, down a short flight of stairs, you first encounter the 35 x 15 foot private outdoor pool, available only to our guests, sunken into a wood deck that respects the palm trees that were there before and many chaises for sunbathing. Turning the corner to your right around the house, you encounter the man made beach area, jutting 50 feet into the sea, this provides another area in which to relax and enjoy the sun, there are a couple of palapas on the beach if you want to avoid the sun and corn hole as well as ladder toss to entertain you. Finally, just beyond the beach area, you come upon the 300 foot dock. With three separate entrances to the water below, there is room to dock your boat (if you have one!!), 6 pods extending outward for more room and a palapa at the end of the dock if you require shade. Covered with chaise lounges, you would be hard pressed to find a better place on Caye Caulker to just sit and relax, or watch the incredible sunsets.brbrBehind Barbara's is a tranquil palm grove with BBQ facilities including picnic tables and a giant Jenga game.
