Charter boats are available for fishing and diving trips from Tairua. brbrTairua itself offers a great selection of shops. The 4 Square is a great little superette with all the supplies one needs for a perfect holiday.brA visit to the Mania Gallery (situated on the Main Road) is a must. brbrWe have a well stocked pharmacy which is o[en Monday through Saturday. brGet it On sell excellent quality clothing. For the younger set Chances Surf Shop sells the main branded clothing lines of Roxy, Billabong, Rip Curl and O'Neills.brThere are several great eateries such as Grand Pepe, Mania, Old Mill and Out of the Blue, which serve great breakfasts.brbrThe estuary in front of the bach is a shallow tidal haven great for kids to play and kayak, where they can be watched from the deck. The more energetic can take a relaxing kayak up the Pepe stream. For the keen golfer, there is an eighteen hole golf course just minutes away.
