The property is right in the middle of Bergerac, in immediate walking distance of restaurants, bars and cafés, bakeries, the main market and small supermarkets. brIt is located in a calm street, not overlooked, so you can make the best of the small sunny garden (complete with palm tree!).brThe ground floor is taken up by one very large room (40m sq or 430 feet sq) with 3 full length french windows. The kitchen/dining area blends seamlessly into the living area with its 4 seater sofa and armchair - the perfect place to relax. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a shower room with WC on the ground floor. The second shower room is upstairs, along with the three bedrooms. It houses the washing machine (no dryer) and the WC is separate. There is an air conditioning unit in the main room downstairs, and a second unit in the corridor upstairs, as well as fans in the rooms. There is high speed (fibre optic) wi-fi throughout.brYou can normally stop your car just outside the house to unload, and we have a lock-up garage next to the house (not suitable for very large vehicles). The railway station is 600m away and a less-than-10 minute walk through the old town brings you to the banks of the Dordogne, and the Maison des Vins (Quai Cyrano), our favourite place to have a glass of wine overlooking the river.
