The best Silver fishing in Alaska is only minutes away from the dock and guests can see pink salmon jumping all around the area. There's no need to travel far. All of your fishing can be done in the calm waters around Knudson Cove/Clover Passage. The 28' uniflite boat is available for guests to take for self-guided trips, as part of the daily package rate. There is also the option of day sailing in a 16' sailboat. The owners have a check-out, orientation process to inform the guests about the features of the boat, fishing gear and fishing boundaries. THE FISHING SHACK - NEWLY REMODELED IN 2023

For the past 11 years, my buddies and I have been fishing in Ketchikan every summer. For the last 3 years we have joked about buying a house to give us a more permanent home in Alaska.brbrWell, last year I retired, pulled the trigger and bought an old abandoned shack that hadn't been lived in for the past 4 years.brbrI started with a brand-new roof. Added a brand-new deck. All new doors. Replaced windows. Then started an entire remodel of the inside that was completed April of 2023. The exterior has been stabilized, but still has a lot of work left to do.brbrThe interior is where I've spent most of my focus. New appliances, new sheetrock, paint, furniture, TVs, beds, cabinets, flooring, new washing machine and dryer. EVERTHING has been re-done compared to what it originally looked like.brbrIt is a really cool fishing shack!brIt is located out north by Clover Pass and Knudson Cove. Perfect for fishermen heading out!brbrIt is also less than one mile from South Point Higgins Beach which boasts the best sunsets in Ketchikan. After a successful day on the water, you and your fishing buddy can walk hand in hand down to the waterfront and experience the best view Alaska has to offer. (Rated 4.9 stars on Google reviews)brbrI have owned rentals before in St. George, UTAH and had a perfect 5-star rating. I don't want that to be jeopardized, that's why I'm letting you know it is a work in progress. If you want the perfect, completely remodeled cabin that looks great on a postcard . . . this is NOT your place. The exterior looks a bit rough still. But the inside is AWESOME!brbrIf you are concerned about anything, please reach out to me before booking. I want to make sure you won't be disappointed with my work in progress.brbrWe have a BBQ grill, big pot to boil crabs in, crab crackers and hammers . . . a mud room to take off wet clothing . . . My wife has done a good job making sure it has enough class to cater to couples and families and not just smelly fishermen. The living room is furnished with a leather sofa, love seat and a large Sony wall mounted 55 LED TV with all networks and ROKU for your indoor entertainment plus a Blu-Ray DVD player with a large Blu-Ray/DVD library.br A well equipped kitchen for your cooking pleasures. A generous supply of breakfast items and staples are provided. A large Weber BBQ is located on upper Patio outside the kitchen entrance for your barbecuing pleasure! Million Dollar Water View on Historic Street

Centrally located a short 10 minute walk to town. The 1930 home has been totally remodeled but has kept the luster of its era with the original hardwood floors and built in linen pantry. The bathroom has in floor heated tile and a large shower stall. The rooms are tastefully decorated with the original wood floors. With a million dollar view of the Tongass Narrows you can watch cruise ships anchor, fishing boats transit and eagles hover overhead while you enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink watching the sunset. The kitchenette has a sink, mini refer, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and all the utensils and serving dishes needed for your use. Because of insurance regulations there is not a stove. The rates are for one room with 2 persons. You can rent the other two rooms for a rate of $35 per each additional guest ages 6 years and older, per night. Children 5 and younger ate $25per night. This is NOT a shared space. In other words once you make your reservation the other 2 rooms are blocked off, unless of course you reserve them, so that just you and your guest have the total area to yourselfs. This is a two story home, I live on the bottom floor and your area is the upstairs. You do have a private entrance with a cipher pad with your personal code so that you can enter or exit as you please. For your convenience you'll have access to a washer and dryer with laundry soap, bleach etc and an ironing board and iron. A hair dryer is available too. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay at a place that you'll fell like your home away from home with one of the best views in town. Two rooms have queen beds and the third room has a bunk bed with a full mattress (slightly smaller than a queen), on bottom and a single mattress on top.
