Straight ahead is the main bedroom, featuring local Alaskan art, a Queen bed and views out to Kachemak Bay. We’re not joking when we call this room the Eagle’s Nest! All rooms feature blackout curtains to provide our guests a restful nights sleep. brbrOUTDOOR PATIO:brIn the evenings, unwind on the cabin's private deck, where you can watch the sunset over the bay and enjoy a BBQ dinner cooked on the outdoor grill. And when you're ready to retire for the night, you'll fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the water lapping against the shore.brbrThe biggest draw of our cabin is the incredible outdoor opportunities that await you. The Kachemak Bay State Park is a hiker's paradise, with over 200 miles of trails that wind through this stunning landscape. You can also explore the park by kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard, taking in the breathtaking views of glaciers, mountains, and wildlife. This cottage is perfect for a couple or small family looking for a comfortable home with an incredible, unobstructed view of Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains!brbrUnlike all of our other units, we did not build Canyon Cottage. Prior to renting it out we remodeled it and it looks amazing! Have a sense of humor when you’re staying because of the location of some of the lighting, ceiling height on the stairs, bedroom sizes, among other quirks, has us chuckling!
