The large open family room/kitchen area is great for relaxing and lounging after a good day at the beach. brbrThe home is located in the heart of the Gulf Shores Beach District on a dead-end street (no through traffic!), just 3 blocks west of the Hang-out and 2 blocks south of the public beach access (5 minute walk). It's close enough to walk/bike to everything Gulf Shores has to offer, yet it feels private and remote...perfect for relaxing. brbrThere is a lagoon in the front yard with a small private dock for fishing, crabbing and kayak launching. Use of 4 kayaks and a paddle boat are included with the rental! You can kayak the Gulf Shores canals and Little Lagoon from the house, even head over to the Original Oyster House or other local restaurants for a kayak up lunch!brbrThere are 3 bedroom, 2 full baths and a private outdoor shower with hot & cold water (everyone's favorite!). The 3rd bedroom we call the bunk room and includes an additional TV viewing area, two bunk bed sets, a queen bed and a private balcony. It's a perfect area for kids. brbrRental also includes a washer/dryer, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach boards, floats, sand toys, corn hole, crab cage, charcoal grill, etc. (Note: there are a few fishing poles and old bikes folks have left at the house - if they are there you are free to use them, I just cant guarantee they will still be there and work.) brbrThe Gulf State Park is only 2 miles via paved path - so bring your bikes and explore the 26+ miles of the Gulf State Park trails (all paved paths or boardwalks).brbrBesides the beach, kayaking, biking and relaxing - there are lots of other fun things to in the area!br1) Gulf State Park: The Fishing pier is great for fishing and also fun to walk out and watch what's being caught. There is also a nature center in the Park and great new restaurants at the Lodge. br2) Gulf Shores' parks & rec: The Bodenhamer Rec center offers day & week passes. The center has a large indoor heated pool w/aqua-climb wall, full service fitness/exercise center and fitness classes, indoor basketball and racquetball courts, tennis courts and game room. It is advisable to use aluminum foil when you place your food inside the grill! Each unit has their own grilling utensils as well!brbr-If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place to enjoy the ocean and mother nature, this is it. There is Fort Morgan Marina where you can charter deep sea or inshore fishing trips and Tacky Jacks restaurant (.4 miles away), right across the street. Stop by the Sassy Bass Amazin' Grill (6 mins away) for some local Navy Cove oysters or one of their specialty drinks and a few other restaurants and stores close by. brbr-The ferry to Dauphin Island is 4 minutes away from the property to visit the Sea Lab & runs multiple times daily (weather permitting). We will send the link to the schedule once the booking is complete!brbr-Historic Fort Morgan is only 5 minutes away which has been around since 1834. We will send a link to it as well once the booking is confirmed!br-For Golf, There are two courses nearby with several others within a 30 minutes range. Kiva Dunes (8 minutes away) & Peninsula Golf & Racquet (19 minutes, 27 hole course) are the most popular in the area!brbr-If you want major outlet shopping or more night activity, Downtown Gulf Shores is 18 miles East. Although Downtown is 18 miles away, we want to be very clear and transparent that you will need to budget about 30 min driving there and back based on traffic and distance depending on the time of year. If you want to plan a trip to Foley which is further North, plan for a total of 45 min. Our home is in a great remote spot away from crowds so expect longer drive time. It's composed of 99% pure silica quartz (found only in S. Ala and in NW Florida Pan Handle). You get to experience some of the things the beach does not offer as easily. Like putting out crab nets, fishing, kayaking. The Bayside has something for everyone. Including the beach which is a 30 second car ride or a 3 min walk. This beautifully remodeled 4 bedroom, 4 full bath home has so much to enjoy. Plenty of seating including an adorable boat window seat so perfect for reading or gazing at the water. Table space for everyone which is fun for game nights. All showers are oversized. The upstairs luxury suite is something to see. It feels like you’re walking on glass clouds, not to mention the adorable custom fabrics and a really fun shower. Although we are still waiting for permitting, it will have a large private deck. The back porch of the home extends across the back of the home which is the best place to view the prettiest of sunsets. This kitchen is well stocked. 2 refrigerators and separate ice maker. Please ask if you’re looking for something specific for your kitchen needs. Three bedrooms have king beds. The fourth bedroom has a queen. To all the people who love to fish. This home sits 7 miles from the mouth of Mobile Bay that leads into the open ocean. We still have a couple projects, construction to clean up and some pretties to complete the home.
