Villa Vera - 5 bedroom villa, 5 bathrooms, with heated pool and outdoor jacuzzi

We love this property as it fits with what we want from our holiday. Private location, not far from local amenities (by car) and then the main town is 10mins away.There is ample space in the villa. It is clean and tidy and the pool area is brilliant for relaxing.The host is amazing, even when we locked ourselves out or arrived past midnight only to find warm gyros kebabs waiting. After a long trip they were so welcomed!!

Wonderful villa in a beautiful setting amongst olive groves. The perfect combination of privacy whilst still close to amenities, beaches, restaurants and road links for day trips. The kids loved their own space and en suite bathrooms… and the pool area was the star of the show! Panos is incredible. What a brilliant owner, so friendly, helpful, generous (thanks for the arrival food and wine Panos!!). He made us feel so welcome and advised us on some great restaurants and places to visit. We can highly recommend this property.

Loved the villa, comfortable, clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable. Panos was very helpful and welcoming, he left us a welcome basket of fruit and homemade produce, bottles of water and wine, all of which was very welcomed especially as we arrived late at night and had no supplies. The jacuzzi bath was situated on the top veranda where you can relax and enjoy the views especially at night looking up at the stars. Nice peaceful secluded area which is what we love. Only one villa near us but we were not overlooked. There is only one thing to mention as a caution, take care when entering the pool as it can be a bit slippy and nearly went a cropper a couple of times. Thank you Panos for also allowing us to stay in the villa a little longer on our day of departure as our flight wasn't until the evening. Hopefully we will be back again soon.

Villa Vera is an excellent property. We really loved the design and décor. Very light and airy and contemporary. The three bedrooms are really large each having their own double bed, air-con, flat screen tv and on-suite toilet/shower. Everything you might need is there, washing machine, dishwasher, hob, oven microwave etc. The pool is great, we used it almost every day. The BBQ is large and works well - we had two BBQ nights and loved the outdoor seating and lighting (pool lights up at night too !) The hot tub on the first floor open area was also a hit and the view from there is brilliant. There is a hard standing within the villa's grounds to park the car and doors to close behind it for security if you choose. The build quality and materials are impressive. You could easily stay at the villa for your entire holiday, and we did spent about 5 days chilling round the pool. It's in a relaxing location, but also a couple of minutes drive down to the beaches. You are also only a few minutes from large stores which sell just about anything you would want. Access to the national highway is about 5 mins away, so day out excursions in any direction is simple and we took advantage of that too, rattling all over the west and centre of the Island. Panos , the owner is one of the friendliest, easy going people we've met. Overall, we we very impressed with our two weeks at the villa and would definitely look to stay there again.

This is a lovely newly built stone house set amongst the olive groves. It is spacious, well maintained and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a wine cooler. It has three large bedrooms with very comfortable beds and pillows. The pool and garden are wonderful - just the place to enjoy the tranquility that this property offers. The nearest shops/supermarkets are about 5 minutes away by car and the nearest town is about 20 minutes drive.. Our host, Panos was very welcoming and went out of his way to assist us. He arranged for transport from the airport, took us to the best supermarket, and took us to hire a car. I would thoroughly recommend this property if you are looking for some piece and quiet in the Cretan sunshine.

If you're looking for a place which is quiet and private, yet close to both the city and beaches. If you're looking for a place that is luxurious, comfortable and with your own private pool, then this is the right place for you! My wife and I stayed here for a week, and we really enjoyed our time! Mr. Kapetankis is a very nice and helpful guy, he welcomed us with some food, even gluten free food and drink, and he always makes sure you have everything you need for your stay! We highly recommend this place!
