Villa Shanti—Entire Property for Families & Friends (4 apartments)

We stayed there for one Week and rented all four apartments. The villa was even nicer than on the pictures. Ingrid is a very very nice host and took care on all requests from our side. All in all we had a really great time there and recommend the villa.

We (a family of 10 - 3 generations from 1,5 to 60 years) spend 2 weeks in Villa Shanti in the summer of 2020. We arrived with high expectations, and they were more than met in this wonderful house. The house and the contents of the house – from kitchen equipment over the beds to the pool – were of very high quality. Also it must be mentioned that the service we received from Ingrid from the start of the booking to the end of our holiday were extraordinary. Any questions were answered within hours (or even minutes), and when we one day encountered problems with the air-condition in one of the rooms, a technician was ordered right away and showed up the next morning at 9 o’clock. Air-con couldn’t be fixed, but before the end of the day, it had been replaced! Last I will emphasize that we had booked the house in the midst of a Corona-time. Which meant that we – 1,5 months before arrival – were impacted of new restrictions for travelling issued by the Danish authorities. We contacted Ingrid – was it possible at this late stage and due to those very special conditions of Corona-pandemi to cancel the booking? We promptly received the message: “Of course, I understand”, and the money were transferred back to us immediately. Luckily the restrictions for travelling were lifted, so we could go and spend two fantastic weeks in Villa Shanti

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Shanti. The house is very well maintained and clean. About 15 minutes walk is a beautiful bay, which was only visited by us. Ingrid is a heartfelt human and is always available as soon as questions arise. Thank you for everything Ingrid and see you next time :)

This Villa is perfect for 3-4 families, renting the complete complex. you still have seperate Apartments to be also private, but also a superb kitchen, eating area where 12 or even more people can cook, eat and sit there directly at a big pool. There is a wonderful beach, not crowded with tourists, but you need to walk about 20 Minutes, however this is the advantage of this beach with crystal clear waters as there is no car parking and therefore the masses do not get there. The owner, Ingrid, is just lovely, asking if everything is okay, and as soon as something is missing (nothing important missing anyway :-)), she will get it sorted out for you. also she gives some advice about what to see and to do in the area. Really, it felt like being home from the first Minute, we had 2 wonderful weeks there. There is just one downside, the nearby cement factory, I was worried about it in the beginning, however as from the lower Level, you do not see it, you also do not hear it, the air is not polluted at all, it really did not bother us at all, in the contrary, this is in the end the reason why the area around is still very natural and even in August, not many tourists stay there due to lacking big hotels, you can just easily avoid the part of the factory and enjoy the rest of the beauty this part of Istria. The Villa has everything you need and provides the perfect place to be.
