Stayed Jun 16, 2019We arrived at Lifestyle’s Resort on Sunday, 6/16/19, a little after 1pm. We could not check-in to the Villa as we were told it was not ready and check-in time was at 3pm. However, on Thursday, we found out that the Villa was ready the night before. My family and I had been awake and traveling with two children, aged 2 and 5, since 3:30AM and the management lied to us, to avoid letting us to check-in two hours early! All I wanted to do was put my 2-year-old down for a nap as she had been awake since around 4AM. Prior to traveling we had requested a crib and high chair for the 4-bedroom Villa we were renting. We were told by the Timeshare Owner that he had alerted the resort. We also requested the crib and high chair several times at the front desk. We were told that it was noted in the computer. We get to the Villa and NO crib or high chair. I had to call the front desk twice to again request them, even after speaking directly with the Senior Concierge. It took them an additional 2 -3 hours to bring the crib and high chair. NO RUNNING WATER when we checked into the Villa on 6/16/19 for at least 4 hours, if not longer. We went to dinner without showering that night! NO RUNNING WATER on Monday (6/17/19), NO RUNNING WATER on Tuesday (6/18/19), NO RUNNING WATER on Wednesday (6/19/19). Maintenance even attempted to blame us for not having water! The Timeshare Owner informed us tickets to Ocean World were INCLUDED. The Concierge informed us that tickets are complimentary and therefore not guaranteed and she could only get us tickets for Friday, 6/21/19. Our trip ended on Friday 6/21/19. After much arguing she was able to “over book” Ocean World for Wednesday and got us tickets. There was NOTHING overbooked about Ocean World on that Wednesday. It was not crowded at all. We were told that you cannot make dinner reservation until you check-in. The resort made us dinner reservations for us for Monday at 8:30pm, Tuesday at 7pm and Wednesday at 8:30pm. We were not consulted about this. Dinner at 8:30pm is too late for two small children. The Senior Concierge said she would work on changing our Monday night reservation, but could not guarantee an earlier dinner time. We would have to adjust the Wednesday night reservation ours. After much arguing we changed out dinner times and the restaurants were not crowded at all. The food was AWFUL too. I have more to say but ran out of allowed characters! Basically, don't go to this resort!

Stayed Apr 13, 2019You'll find lots of listings here on VRBO for the Crown Villas and it pays to do your research. The all-inclusive fee can easily outweigh the cost of the accommodations. I paid $180/nt for the Villa and typical all-inclusive costs for 2 adults and 1 child would have been $250+/nt. Leslie and Bob have locked in rates which are, as they advertise, the LOWEST you'll find. They were half of the typical current fees which saved me about $125 a day. I will always check them out first and you might want to do the same. In addition, they been doing this for some time so know the ins and outs of all the resorts ammenities and rules (there are lots of both). The packet of information they send in advance was incredibly helpful, full of info and tips which added to our experience. They answered questions quickly and thoroughly. There is a reason they have 5 star reviews. Thanks to you both!

Stayed Mar 21, 2019Thank you Leslie and Bob for being so attentive and quickly responding to all questions at all times, before we went and during our visit. You were great yo work with and we truly appreciate and were very happy to buy this property through you. I recommend them, they are honest and helpful. We had a great time at Lifestyle Holiday Vacation Resort In Puerto Plata!! I will go through you guys again if we are to ho another time. Great experience!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was my first trip to the Dominican Republic and, after staying at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort through Bob and Leslie, I wouldn't ever consider staying anywhere else if I traveled there again. I traveled there in May 2016 and except for two days, the resort was nearly empty. Everything was still in full operation, though, which was impressive. The property, staff, food, entertainment, and beach areas were all outstanding. Everything was first-class and everyone who worked there seemed like they'd do anything to make me comfortable. I paid the daily resort fee, but I felt like it was a steal for what I received. The quality of the dinners was truly exceptional. I also had wireless internet while there. The speed wasn’t great, but I was able to access it everywhere, which was nice. I travel a lot, and comfort is very important to me. The home that I stayed in appeared nearly brand-new...it was gorgeous! The 3 bedroom single family house was clean, light-filled, and comfortable, and I felt right at home. The home was in a neighborhood that contained construction of other new homes, but it didn't bother me at all...even when spending the day in the backyard pool. In fact, I feel that the resort staff would have been willing to relocate me had I complained. I understand that all home assignments are based on availability, but I drove around the resort quite a bit and I feel that I would have been comfortable in most of them. Thanks, Bob and Leslie!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful time and tons of help with the many questions we had leading up to the trip. Bob and Leslie were wonderful and timely with all the questions. We shared a home for a week with 9 good friends, had plenty of space, food and drinks. The local staff were friendly and appreciative and easy to work with.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I was at the villa with my friends for few days and I loved it, the people at the resort made me feel like I was home, always attentive and friendly. it was so nice that im already planning my next trip :D bob & leslie are amazing loved doing business with them, I would def. call them again for my next trip.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with 2 other couples. Our villa was one of the older ones but the backyard had a gate that opened to the path that leads right down to the beach. Wonderful location great service and a very clean villa. Was very easy working with Leslie and Bob. Can't wait to go this coming April.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were a group 6 adults who rented a villa thru Leslie & Bob Mitchell at Lifestyle Holiday Resort in DR. They were quite customer service friendly and offered very competitive prices. They also provided additional information on flights and the resort services. And didn't mind answering lots of questions that we had. The villa was excellent with all of the amenities that were promised, this villa was even better than the one we stayed at in 2013. Should we go again, we will certainly book thru this couple.
