Villa Nemea: typical Sardinian House, saltwater pool, great views

We had a lovely time at Villa Nemea. The Vrbo website made booking a little tricky as we wanted 6 days not 7 but Gloria was a great host and we got there in the end. The excellent communication with the host, Gloria, put my mind at ease booking through a new platform.The villa is traditional, a little rustic, but perfect for our adult family group. Having three shower rooms is fantastic for sharers. We loved the outdoor space, the table tennis and comfortable beds!The villa is in a stunning location, with fabulous views. Technically, you can walk to the beach, supermarket and a couple of restaurants, but in reality you do end up popping out in the car as it is hilly and hot! Visiting very early in the season (last week of May) the season was only just starting and the local beach club was not open, but the advantage was the roads were quiet and parking no problem. Sardinia is stunning. The water is amazing - it really is as blue as the pictures! We wouldn’t hesitate to book Villa Nemea or another property hosted by Gloria in the future.

The house is very nice and comfortable. Very efficient usage of space. Kitchen utensils could be improved. Pool is nice and clean. Walking distance to two different beaches. A bit further away from other main attractions. Gloria was great.

Villa Nemea was excellent and as advised. Very peaceful and private. Lovely pool and lots of areas to sit out. Location was amazing. The local beach is beautiful and easy to get to. Many other great beaches within a 30min drive. We had a fantastic trip, would return again! Gloria was super helpful and responsive - a pleasure to deal with!

Regarding the location, it is a quiet place surrounded by nice beaches. All the conviniences are accessible in 5 mn by car. In a radius of 60 KM you can discover many nice places. Regarding the house, it is very clean and the weekly housework helps you to feel really in holidays. The entire house has air conditionning that is really precious during summer. The swimming pool is great with salt water. You do not experience any discomfort even if you stay hours in it. Just have in mind that it is too small to really swim for adults The last but not the least, it is just the best property manager that I dealt with. Any issue you can face is fixed in few hours (or less). Any question you can have is answered even if it is not directly in her mandate. A real advantage that makes the difference !

We really appreciated our stay in Gloria’s house. Everything is made to make your vacations the best ever! Everything is well furnished, lot of spaces to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The swimming pool is really nice especially in the nigh with an amazing blue light:) Thanks to Gloria who was really nice to us and help us with all our questions!! We recommend this place !

We stayed at Villa Nemea for a week. The Villa is a great place for families and adults. The pool was perfect for our 5-year old and we enjoyed it from sunrise to sunset. The surroundings are quiet and there's a small village nearby with a restaurant and a grocery store. The hostess, Gloria, was nice, professional and made sure our stay went smooth. Sardinia, we'll be back!

The villa is in an envious location high up over looking the bay and sea. It’s mid size accommodation is great for up to six people. The pool and outside space are great too. The only one issue we had was with mosquitos. You have to take a lot of precautions if want to avoid the bites. There are steps outside the villa which are a shortcut down to the sea and local shops. Be very careful as they not maintained and a slip hazard. Overall a great villa in a great location.

6 of us spent a week in Gloria's stunning Villa Nemea. The property is lovely with amazing views and really nice pool. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and Gloria was very helpful and responsive throughout booking and stay. The beach is a short walk down 10-15 mins with a walk back up being fair amount of steps, this is the price to pay for lovely views. There is also a nice area for snorkelling again a short walk away (with steps again). Local shop has lot more than you would imagine and the beach has a small bar and boat rental. The property was ideal - lovely views and the villa was extremely clean and tidy. Gloria (and her husband) was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The whole family enjoyed our two weeks in such a great location.
