Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a remarkable property that delivered everything we hoped for in a Tuscan holiday villa. The home is beautiful and full of character as it has been thoughtfully renovated to retain historic charm. The swimming pool is outstanding and allows guests to relax while taking in the scenic surrounds. Access to Florence and other centres is easy due to proximity to the autostrade. We ate fresh figs from the garden and saw deer grazing beside the driveway. The staff at the reception building were thoughtful and professional in their dealings with all members of our group. The fact that two of the bathrooms had plunge baths with just a shower on a hand-held hose with no shower screen was the only difficulty experienced, but four bathrooms meant that this was not a big issue.
