Stayed Sep 7, 2024We really hope to make it back to this area! The villa was perfect for the four of us (two couples). Very relaxing, easy walk to the small town, which had everything we needed. Easy access to Sorrento and Amalfi coast (take the boat, it's easier). Great hike to the church on the hill (Church of Santa Croce) Pino was always accessible if we needed anything. Thank you for sharing your magical place with us.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The owner has great pride for his villa and it shows. The villa is immaculate and tastefully decorated. Pino took the time to show us (5 woman) around the villa and town and was available and responsive to any messages sent. The villa is 20 minutes from Sorrento. We didn’t have a car but Bus services are available, however, you had to be mindful of the return time. Pino provided a contact for taxi service for when needed. It’s a great location if you like to hike as well. A very charming town. I would definitely recommend this lovely villa. ?

Stayed Jul 17, 2018We (4 adults and 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa del Saraceno. The home owner met us in the village square and walked us through all of the details of the house when we arrived. The house is recently remodeled and beautifully decorated. It's bright and cheery and easily acomodated all of us. The kitchen is small but we cooked a great meal one night using the outdoor charcoal grill on site after we bought some fresh fish in the nearby village of Sant'Agata sui due di Golfi and produce from a local farmer in the town square. We spent a couple hours in the pool on a two different days which was refreshing. We also drove about 10 minutes down the hill to the nearest beach at Nerano and from there took a private boat excursion to Capri. I highly recommend taking time to do this. It took all day but was definitely worth the trip. There is an amazing 5 star family-run restaurant right in the village (Termini) called Ristorante Salvatore e Mafalda that we ate at twice with delicous food and wonderful, personalized service. They even made special meal changes for our two picky tweens. There is also a small store and a bar/gelato shop right in town next to a church (they are everywhere in Italy) and a cute ceramics shop. We enjoyed gelato and beer from here nearly every evening. Also had some great wine there. I only wish that we had had more time to stay here. We spent 4 nights after visiting Rome and then headed to Greece. This was one of the kids favorite places. I recommend staying longer if you are into a more leisurely vacation. We only made it to Sorrento but never got to Positano because we were so happy where we were (and also the driving was stressful on such narrow roads in our van with the Italians being quite aggressive drivers). I recommend renting a small car. On another day we went to see the volcanic ruins of Herculaneum which was worth the 1 hour drive. Don't recommend Pompei as the ruins are so spread out and hard to find. We would stay here again in a minute if we headed back to this region. Could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you to the Pino family for renting out this great home!
