Comfortably sleeping 10 to 12 people, Villa Arte, set in a privileged position on Magra's valley at a few meters from the picturesque Medieval village of Sarzana, between Liguria and Tuscany, just a stone's throw from the Cinque Terre National Park.
The villa surrounded by Mediterannean trees and a large fenced park affords superb views of the Apuan Alps.
The property is managed with great care by the two owners; Thomas Diego Armonia (Internationally renowned Pop Art artist) and Enrico Caneva (expert botanist and profound connoisseur of Mediterranean plants).
Expertly renovated with fine traditional materials and fabrics of the highest quality, Villa Arte is a combination of modernity and tradition in order to provide any comforts and needs.

Not to mention that you can reach the seaside 5 minutes by car, both the wild beaches in the Cinque Terre and the more elegant ones of Versilia. Moreover thanks to the villa's strategic location you can easily reach interesting tourist and cultural sights both in Liguria and in Tuscany: Sarzana, Bocca di Magra, Lerici, Porto Venere and the marvelous Cinque Terre, Golfo dei Poeti (Poets'Gulf), Portofino and Genova.
Handy ferries to Cinque Terre, Punta Corvo, the Islands Palmaria and Tino, Porto Venere and Portofino depart daily from the local ports of Lerici (8 km), Bocca di Magra (11 km) and La Spezia (16 km).

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house is charmingly decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the linens were of a high quality. The kids enjoyed the pool and we all appreciated just being 7 mins away from the main square and 10 mins from the supermarket. Sarzana is quite a pretty little place and close to beaches and the Cinque Terre. One of the bedrooms has a/c which was very appreciated by the children , two of whom had difficulty sleeping in the heat. The kitchen is small and only two rings on the stove were working when we stayed. Not too much of a problem for us as we are out most evenings. The WiFi was just OK but this may be due to the fact the property had thick walls. Tomas, the owner was very kind and helpful, particularly when our daughter locked herself in her room. He has an apartment at the back of the property. This wasn’t a problem at all as our privacy was respected and it was useful to have someone help with the various issues we encountered during our stay.

Perfect five nights at Arte Villa for our family of eleven where we gathered before our daughter's wedding. Beautiful rooms, pool, easy walking into Sarzana, and good location for trips to the sea. Thomas and Enrico were great hosts, helping us numerous times. Congratulations and happy 25 anniversary to them. Hope their party day was as wonderful as our daughter's wedding day! We had the most wonderful time in Sarzana and loved Villa Arte . We enjoyed the sunset nightly sipping prosecco by the pool; a fabulous end to each day! Cleanliness is always our main focus and this rental surpassed our standards. We highly recommend Villa Arte to anyone visiting Sarzana and Cinque Terre… by the way, staying here and visiting the area was in our opinion the best way to go. Not as busy as the other towns and easy access by car to main tourist destinations.

This beautiful restored house was very clean and perfectly presented with everything you could need. All communications with the owner were excellent. The enchanting position near to restaurants, shops and beaches alowed a perfect vacation for us and our group of friends. We had a great time indeed.

We, a family of 4 with 2 grownup kids, stayed a week at Villa Arte. Thomas gave us a warm welcome. He lives just behind the house. The property is wonderfully furnitured and the location is simply perfect! Only 10 minutes by car from beach clubs , 30 minutes from Versilia and Cinque Terre and only one hour and half from Florence. We really appreciated the proximity to Sarzana ! We didn't know this Medieval village which is really spectacular and rich of things to see such as the Cittadella, the Fortress, the Churches as well as the narrow strees with groceries and delicious restaurants.

The villa recently renovated, is very well equipped with all comforts, a large garden, swimming pool, wi-fi and BBQ. We really enjoyed the beautiful decorations and paintings of the owner and proximity to the most important places to see such as Lerici, Portovenere, Cinque Terre, Portofino and Pisa.

A gorgeous villa with a touch of Art everywhere : Inside and outside indeed. The prperty is very well furnitured and the garden is simply fabulous. We loved the privacy of the estate and the proximity to restaurants, pubs and shops. Lots of fabulous restaurants close by in Sarzana. We recommend Capiteli. Lots of different areas to have drinks and meals at home in shade and sun. We had a great stay here and we highly recommend it to all.

The owners Thomas and Enrico were friendly, lovely and very kind. We spent a wonderful time in this villa nearby Sarzana. The villa is in a perfect condition. Everthing clean and new, beautiful furniture, wonderful paintings and a gorgeous romantic pool. The villa is located a few steps from Sarazana where you can find restaurants, bars and shops. The owner is very friendly and we always enjoyed to talk and laugh with him during the times he took care of the garden and the swimming pool. Sarzana is a lovely small town with many places to see. Our favorite was Cittadella and Fortress of Sarzana. To the sea i takes about 15 minutes by car. Lerici, Fiascherino and Cinque Terre are not far away (20-30 minutes by car). We enjoyed our vacation very much and recommend this property to everbody who is looking for a calm place to relax and who wants to enjoy the italian wlifestyle.
