Treetop Retreat

This is truly a retreat! Quiet and comfortable. Lived the outside decks! One perfect for a meal and morning, the other for relaxing in a rocker. The two bedroom spacious with comfy beds and having TWO full bathrooms was perfect! The open kitchen, while petite, was well appointed making cooking easy while staying engaged in the conversation. Great location to explore history, hiking and the many restaurants and stores in Helen and Sautee Nacoochee. Highly reccommend!!

Great location to visit the town of Helen.Dale was real easy to work with and provided good places to visit. Bed very comfortable, good water pressure. As was shown in listing.

This is a wonderful place to stay!! The host is fantastic. If you have an issue, don't wait to complain in a review, just hit him up and anything will be addressed, so good. It is up the mountain a bit but I enjoyed that, while very close to the good stuff in helen. We even had some visitng bears hitting up the trash can..lol. Don't leave ANY food or good smells in your vehicles..fyi. The fireplace was awesome sauce and all was clean and the couches were sooo comfy. Very quite, safe, secure and peaceful place to stay. The balconies are up in the air, also cool. There is also a guest book that people jot down their experiences in which was great as well. It was a great time, we can't wait to go back, thanks Dale!!

Pet friendly however my only issue was no grassy area anywhere for them to potty unless you walk them up the hill to the community center. House was clean and comfortable. And the host is amazing. Great location for a visit to Helen.

Location with a low traffic and lots of privacy. Would love to see it in the spring time.

Didn't use ac with high temps in the 50s. Didn't use pool for same reason. Didnt bring a pet.

Dale was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was perfect, much better than a hotel. The setting was peaceful and beautiful but close enough to the activity of Helen. The the inside was clean and had the amenities we needed, the fireplace was a nice extra relaxing touch. Will definitely stay again!

The cabin was spacious for two and very well kept. the host(Dale) was excellent.

Great place, great host. We played golf during our stay and enjoyed a great time. Parking is real tight for two vehicles( full size pickups).

This house was wonderful for a quiet getaway. The secluded balcony with the sounds of the babbling brook below offered a mesmerizing peace for reading and relaxing.

We had an excellent experience here. Loved the cabin the only thing was the thermometer, we couldnt figure out how to turn it off but other than that it was a 10

What a wonderful getaway! This place was soo quiet, well decorated, clean and comfortable!! Easy location to get to anywhere around Helen and surrounding areas… Highly recommend it!!!

Even though there are neighbors, it felt as if we were secluded and in the woods. Paved (steep) roads were nice and very close to everything. A very comfortable place to stay.

PROS: Location, close to everything, Beds, very comfortable. A/C, works excellent. Area, quiet with beautiful trees. CONS: Needs updating. Carpet is stained. Underlying bad smell. Cleaners left their bag of trash on the counter. No place to walk pets except in the road. Pool not usable. Here was my dilemma - Dale is an EXCEPTIONAL host, you won't find better. Unfortunately, I can't give this place that rating. I really debated whether to even leave a review but since I went off the reviews of others I felt the need to voice my true opinion.

Great size for a small family of 4. Quiet location out of the noise of down town but close enough to get here quickly. Everything was clean and very accommodating.

Quiet condo outside of town,. Pool was not in working order and grill was removed.When we booked this the information stated grill and pool.Found out a week before the grill was no longer available.Arrived and pool was under repair.

Very clean and roomy! We loved it.

We had an excellent girls weekend!!! Two senior ladies & 2 college age ladies. We arrived on Thursday, went tubing on Friday morning before it got busy, shopped on Saturday, listened to live music on Saturday night & laughed all weekend. The younger ones wanted to ride the mountain coaster but because we didn’t get there early there was a long line so they elected for us to do more shopping!!! Our host was amazing & the rental was perfect. Us older ladies took 1 bedroom/bath & the younger ones took the other bedroom/bath. There was plenty of room for us to relax & play games at night at the large table. This rental was exactly as described & we couldn’t have been happier. It is in a gated area & is VERY quiet. We intended on enjoying the pool, but we didn’t so I can’t speak about that. We stopped in Cleveland to pick up food/drinks/snacks since there isn’t a large grocery store in Helen. There’s a small one but I’m sure they only have your basic needs so make plans to get these things on your way. Thank you Dale!!!! You were fantastic!!!!

comfortable home with nearly everything we needed

This was a fantastic location; close to everything, but in a gorgeous wooded area with a stream running through it. Spectacular views from the balconies. It was so quiet and peaceful! We felt very safe. The home is comfortable and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

This was our first time to the Helen area and we were not disappointed. We found the accommodations perfect for our stay and the owner was extremely responsive to any questions we had! Even the weather cooperated with beautiful skies, temps in the low 70s and no humidity Highly recommend.

Once we found the property- we were happy with it. The biggest downfall is the lack of utensils. I couldn't find the dinnerware. I could gind everything else - but no fork or knife - very disappointing

overall, the properties very nice however, the unit does need some work with flooring and upgrade some appliances

My fiancee and I were very happy with our stay. We were looking for a quiet place with a fireplace to curl up together. We had everything we needed there and it was oh so quiet too. We would stay again.

We wanted to see Helen for our Christmas getaway. Helen is a cute little town. I was disappointed with Treetop property. I look for clean organized kitchen with stove that works. Especially so we could cook our Christmas dinner. We didn't experience that at this property.

Well kept and comfortable home in a great location

What a wonderful get-away!! Beautiful views all around, friendly people, and we loved the home we stayed in. It is so cozy and clean. Loved it. Also, the owner was kind enough to answer our call and was in constant contact via VRBO. We will definately return!!!!!

Peaceful quiet and the best time of the year. Great weather and low temperatures. Easy access to town and everyone was so friendly. The treehouse was just what we needed.

Great location! It is set in a wooded location, very quiet and just outside of downtown Helen. It was perfect for visiting with my brother!❤️ it was our home away from home! Not only was the location great, you could not ask for a better host!!!

We love the unit but we’re disappointed that we had to leave a day early but that was due to the weather . We will be back!!!

The rental property was roomy with nice bedrooms and a great kitchen area. It is definitely a short drive to Helen would be a difficult walk. 5 minutes by car.

Had some issues checking in at the gate no fault of the owner (Dale). Dale was very responsive and took care of it while.on the phone. The villa was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this villa.
