Set within two acres of private gardens with astounding views towards Pigeon Beach and Montserrat beyond, The Garden House offers a peaceful, comfortable retreat for between 2 and 4 guests, but is just a few minutes walk from all the bars and restaurants in English Harbour and 5 minutes walk to famous Catherine's Cafe on Pigeon Beach. It is entirely self-contained and has its' own pool and terrace area with a barbeque and sun loungers.

The Garden House is a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom villa with 2 en suite bathrooms and private pool. The main living room flows naturally onto the covered balcony through 2 large screened patio doorways. There's a fully equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware.

Both bedrooms are air conditioned (and have ceiling fans too) and are configured as a king in the master and the second bedroom can be either twins or a king.
The covered balcony stretches around 2 sides of the villa, both of which have great sea views. The pool deck is built out to allow full enjoyment of the trade winds and the view down along nearby Pigeon Beach.

There is so much to do locally - from sailing and kayaking at The National Sailing Academy, Riding at Springhill Stables, snorkelling at Galleon Beach - you'll find buzzy Loose Cannon here too - perfect for lunch or sundowners, tennis just down the road - or why not go on a boat charter around the island. Rum in the Ruins is a wonderful historical talk given by the National Parks Professor - fascinating and informative.

We are happy to help and advise with any aspect of your visit and have on-island house managers who can help arrange an airport transfer and liaise with the driver to meet you at the house on your arrival to show you around. They are also very much around to help and advise during your stay and can provision the house too - always nice to arrive to a full fridge!

There's no need to hire a car but it can be done easily in English Harbour on a day by day basis and would be a great way to explore the island.

    How to improve. Lets see. We traveled ten hours by plane after getting up at 3 o'clock in the morning and were met by a man who rattled off a slew of things we needed to know about staying at the property. Suggestion. Meet your guest and say. I know you must be exhausted why don't you relax for a few hours and I'll come back to give you the tour. Would that be okay..

    The Garden House exceeded every expectation. The pictures don’t come close to capturing the incredible view—sunsets over Falmouth Harbour and Pigeon Point Beach were unforgettable and never got old.The home was spotless, well maintained, and clearly cared for. The owners were engaged and proactive, and the local managers were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive.The location is perfect: an easy walk to Pigeon Point Beach (note there’s some elevation on the way back) and just minutes from great restaurants. Catherine’s Café on the beach was a standout, and the variety of excellent, internationally diverse dining options nearby really enhances the entire experience. Nelson’s Dockyard is also close—walkable or a very quick drive—and adds even more charm and history to the stay.We absolutely loved our time here and will certainly book the Garden House again.

    Very good experience from time of booking through stay and departure.The home features a spectacular view to the west for evening sunsets. Short walk into town offers many dining options.Hosts as well as their local managers provided easy access to the villa and were available on short notice to answer any questions (which were very few).Patio and pool area very nice and large airy shaded veranda provided breqks as needed.Would definitely recommend the Garden House!

    The location is simply amazing. Fabulous views, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Even Nelson’s harbour was only a short walk away. I would be nervous about taking little kids there though, as there are drops off around the pool area.

    We have just returned from an amazing week at The Garden House and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to be based in English Harbour. Both the Owner of the property and the Management team in Antigua were extremely helpful and friendly. It’s a short walk into town where there are several good restaurants and a short walk the other way takes you to Pigeon Point beach which we visited most days and loved. The view from the terraces and pool are amazing and you couldn’t wish for a better place to watch the sunset. We definitely plan to return to this property.

    Garden House is a charming villa close to Falmouth / English Harbour / Nelson’s Dockyard which are probably the most interesting attractions on the island. Great pool. Lovely, friendly housekeepers and an efficient management company.

    Our experience at the Garden House was amazing! Izzy was very responsive and Clare was very hospitable. So much to do and see. The house was perfect for 4 people and the views are breath taking ! We would absolutely stay again !

    We stayed 1 week in Garden House. House has everything you might need for the vacation. View is great. There is a lot of outside living space, plus swimming pool. It is really close to the beach, but it is on the hill and walking back will be uphill- please keep in mind Beach itself, my opinion is one of the best beaches. Calm, clear water with great view. Communication with property manager Nathan - immediate response to every question or need. Overall, if I ever decide to go back to Antigua, this house will be my first choice

    Our stay at the Garden House was probably the best holiday we've ever had! The house itself is comfortable, clean and with killer views of Pigeon Point Beach and the Harbor below. Nathan and Claire were responsive and friendly and very helpful. Izzy was very responsive prior to our stay. The book on premises gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and shops. The house is a five minutes walk down to the beach and about the same distance down to town where you can find plenty of places to eat and shop (one of our most frequent stops was the Cork & Basket -- Kamlish was awesome)! We are already planning our next visit!
