Tamerici 9 In San Miniato, Tuscany

Quiet, relaxing stay. Easy access via car, great access to surrounding communities. Would be a great space for large gatherings. Pool was clean with a great ambiance. Stefano and Luciano answered all our questions efficiently and we enjoyed our stay.

Stefano and Luciano’s villa in San Miniato was a lovely place to stay in Tuscany. It has a very authentic feel and lots of old world charm. You must have a car to stay here and be a confident driver as there are many switch backs and narrow spots where only one can pass, there are also many spectacular vistas to see along the way. When we had issues they were resolved quickly. The pool was beautiful and the best part of the property, it is not heated so for us it was quite cold in mid September. It is an old house and with that comes the quirks of old things but the property was very beautiful and peaceful which was what we were looking for. The area is fairly central to explore various towns around Tuscany. Lots of places are less than an hour drive away. Happy to recommend this spot.

House is amazing and pool is like a resort. House also stayed very cool even in 40-45 degree heat.

Sehr gute Lage! Echte Ruhe! Super gepflegter Gartenbereich. Der Pool ist wie der Ozean, gleiche riesig und sehr sauber. Es gibt Umkleidekabinen und 2 Duschen in der Nähe des Pools, sehr praktisch. In verschiedenen Erholungsbereichen können Sie den ganzen Tag im Schatten am Pool verbringen. Der Garten und der Pool werden täglich gereinigt. Die Villa ist alt mit einer langen Familiengeschichte, aber sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Große helle Schlafzimmer, neue Betten. gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Villa Tamerici is perfect for exploring Tuscany as it is located in an ideal spot. Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena are around 60 to 70 minutes’ drive away. Florence is an easy train ride away. The villa sleeps 9 and is huge. One main big family bathroom on the first floor where there are 3 bedrooms. There is a further bathroom downstairs but we all used the upstairs one for showers. There is good air conditioning in the bedrooms. The bedrooms are huge! The WiFi is excellent and there is even WiFi by the pool. The pool is a fabulous size. It is cleaned every day. You can turn lights on at night. There is a lot of verandah space for lounging around and lots of comfortable seating. There is an area where you can play football. There is even some gym equipment outside. There is a table tennis board near the pool. There is a lot of seating and loungers by the pool. We did not use the annexe house so cannot vouch for that, but I’m sure it’s very good too. Luciano and Stefano are wonderful landlords. They were very helpful in suggesting places to visit, eat and booking restaurants. They respond to texts immediately. I can wholeheartedly recommend this property.

We travelled as a party of 4, so the house was enormous for us. Luciano and Stefano were wonderful hosts. They stopped by every day to clean the pool but only chatted with us occasionally, so it was not intrusive. The house was extremely large and I can see that it would comfortably house 9 people. (We didn’t use the annexe house). The rooms are enormous. There is one shared large bathroom upstairs for the 3 bedrooms to share and there is one further bathroom, with a shower, downstairs. We nearly ran into problems as we did not have plug adaptors for Italy (3 prongs, not 2 as in EU). There were 2 adaptors, so we shared, but take note if you are going from the UK or other European countries. The swimming pool is lovely. It is very large. They keep it very clean and you can light it up at night. The verandah area is fabulous. There are lots of comfortable chairs to lounge around in. There is even gym equipment if you want to train whilst on holiday. The WiFi in the house is excellent and there is good air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms. The location of the villa is fantastic. We visited Vinci, San Gimignano, Florence, Pisa, Siena. All were about 60 to 70 minutes’ drive away. We did take the train into Florence. We drove to Empoli and parked the car there for about 6 euros. The train was very reasonable. I can wholeheartedly recommend this villa. The hosts are wonderful and the company who deals with the contracts VacaVilla provided an excellent service. They were so prompt in replying.

Superbe maison avec sa dépendance.

We (two families, in total 10 persons) really have enjoyed our two week stay at Tamarici. The house is situated 8km from San Miniato (lovely Tuscan town) and surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The pool is enormous: 15m x 5m! The owners are lovely and very helpfull. In the big house you have a big kitchen, three big bedrooms and two bathrooms (one downstairs and one one the second floor). The little house has one bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room, kitchen and a bathroom. House is well-equiped. The garden is very big (including a football field!!). More than enough possibilities to find shadow. House offers even a outdoor gym. San Miniato is situated in the triangle Pise (40 km) - Firenze (40 km) - Siena (80 km). Wonderful place to spend your holiday!! Don't forget to eat some icecream in San Miniato. Favorite flavor: Nutellina!
