Stone built villa with private pool in beautiful surroundings.

It is a lovely, well equipped villa and Dalyan is a beautiful location. When we arrived there were sewer flies in the basement room and we told the owner and he said to use fly spray. Signs around the villa say it is fine to flush toilet paper so we did. A couple of days in the septic tank alarm went off and the Kournos man came and cleared a block and we were told not to flush toilet paper. The next night water started entering the basement bedroom through the floor. We called Kournos again the next morning and they said it was where the septic tank had tried to flush the blockage with water and it had entered the soil, it was now seeping through cracks in the floor. Kournos were not very friendly seemed to blame us what happened. They said to use towels from the villa to soak up the water and told us that the water was safe. They didn’t change the towels for the whole 2 weeks we were there and we had to keep drying them and then putting them back to soak up more water. The water finally stopped coming through the day before we left. Also the rug in the living room was pretty filthy and could use a good clean. Apart from that the villa was lovely and we all loved the pool. All 5 of us slept in the basement bedroom as it was too hot upstairs. Dalyan is a fantastic location and I would return there.

Everything was as described and more. We have stayed in many villas in Dalyan and this was by far the best equipped. It was great to have the bikes to use. Pool had the sun all day and there was a breeze. We had an issue with the septic tank warning alarm but that was rectified by the management company within the hour. We would stay again and recommend to anyone.

We thoroughly recommend this villa which was exactly as described and very comfortable for our stay in Dalyan. It is obviously a much loved and well looked after family home. Rod and Hilary are very easy to communicate with, responding very quickly to any enquiry, and the local agent, Kaunos is also very helpful. It was the picture of the pool and garden that caught my eye and these certainly lived up to expectations. We each had our favourite spot to sit in and the sun loungers were very comfortable! The villa is really well equipped with inflatables, games, books, dvds etc and the all important air conditioning works well. The downstairs bedroom is a really large space that seems to stay cool by itself, even on the hottest days. I liked the area of town we were in and we could reach the lovely river path very easily. In the heat it took us about 15-20mins to walk the other way down to the centre of town, but it is only about 5-10mins walk to where the shops and restaurants start. The very nearest restaurant is in Fatih Aparthotel. We went here several times for lunch and would recommend it. Dalyan is one of the best resorts I have ever been to in terms of the amount of things to do using public transport/trips. We really enjoyed the Kaunos night safari and seeing the stars from the total darkness of the mountains was a real experience. If the weather had been cooler we would have done more so we hope to return again soon! Thank you so much Rod and Hilary!

We have just arrived home from the most amazing break to Dalyan in this stunning villa! It is absolutely immaculate, and it was so comfortable. The pool was beautiful and more than large enough for four adults. The kitchen is very very well stocked and everything you will ever need can be found. The location was fantastic - 10min walk into the main centre. Also a 5min walk to a number of local restaurants (our favourite was Kervansary which is on the doorstep to the villa). The hosts have been fantastic. They kept In touch from time of booking up until we have got home. They arranged transfers for us which was very very helpful. They gave us lots of information regarding the location and some great recommendations for places to visit and best places to eat! We cannot wait to return for another beautiful stay! Don’t hesitate booking this villa! Thanks again!

Great communication from the owner. Property exceeded expectations in regards to cleanliness, amenities and value for money. Good location although it is a good 10-15 minutes walk in to town. Good restaurants and bars close by. Would definitely use again.

This was a great 3 bedroom villa in a quite area but near enough to walk into town .It has nice bedrooms all with en-suite great pool with views all you could want from a holiday villa, Nice and relaxing just what I needed after a very hectic 6 months at work.

Effortless from the minute I contacted Rod. His communication was excellent; very quick to respond to every query and request. Booked the villa fairly last minute due to Covid complications elsewhere but Rod was quick to accommodate our needs (6 nights rather than normally minimum stay of 7) and extend period for 100% refund in the event that we couldn’t come. As for the villa itself-it is fabulous. Every detail and been thought of and covered. Was our first time in Dalyan and we really enjoyed it-particularly our boat trip and swim in the lake; it was simply gorgeous! Thank you Rod and Hilary-we’ve had a fab time ??

We have just finished a two week holiday here. The villa had everything we needed -and quite a lot we hadn’t thought of! Rooms are lovely, and each room having an en-suite is great. The rooms all have bug screens on the windows, so you can sleep at night enjoying a cool breeze. The pool is excellent, big enough for a swim, but great also for a short plunge to cool off. Sitting on the terrace having morning coffee or evening drinks is so relaxing. The bikes are a great extra. We used them almost daily to go shopping or explore the area. It’s a lovely short walk into Dalyan and it’s nice to leave the bustle of the town behind at the end of the night. This villa was all we hoped for and more. Rod and Hillary couldn’t have been more helpful before our trip helping us organise various things which meant from the moment we were picked up at the airport until we left, we felt looked after. The people at Kaunas Tours were also extremely helpful - so thanks to them too.

Just returned after a fantastic 11 night stay at this beautiful villa. Rod and Hillary arranged the transfer from the airport, all went like clockwork . The villa was immaculate when we arrived, everything there that you could possibly need. The outside are is perfect, beautiful gardens and pool. Dalyan was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The scenery is breathtaking and the locals couldn’t do enough for you. Great selection of restaurants all offering a wide choice, something for everyone. Thank you Rod and Hillary for your hospitality and for making our Turkey holiday stress free. We will definitely be returning to Dalyan in the future.

Villa Baykus is an absolute gem! Beautifully presented and maintained, with immaculate gardens and pool, this is a real home from home. The owners, Rod and Hilary, have really thought of every last detail to make your stay just perfect. Never before have we stayed in a villa so well equipped. The setting is lovely, in a quiet area on the edge of the village, with views to the mountains and Pomegranate orchards. Yet its only 5 minutes away from the beautiful river path and an easy flat 15 minute stroll into the village centre, passing numerous good bars, restaurants and cafes whichever route you choose. The booking process was easy and Rod and Hilary provided much information before our departure (and even more in the villa itself) and were happy to answer any questions we had. They arranged transfers to/from the airport for us, via Kaunos Tours whose efficient and friendly staff were always on hand, should we need them, throughout our stay. Having been to Dalyan many times, this was our first stay at Villa Baykus but we hope to stay there again as soon as possible. Cannot recommend highly enough.
