We had a wonderful stay here for our very first visit to Madeira. We were greeted by the hosts who went through everything with us in detail. We were supplied fire wood and a supply to get us started of milk, bread, cheese, ham and fruit as well as a delicious cake and wine. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour but it didn’t stop us enjoying the beautiful property and the kids still got to enjoy the pool a couple of days. I would have no hesitation giving this property a 10/10.

The home was absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views. Sandra's hospitality was wonderful! We had a spectacular stay. The amenities were perfect. We recommend you rent a car however. This will allow you to go back and forth to town as needed. We didn't rent a car but were easily able to get Bolt to pick us up. We wish the weather were better so we could have take advantage of the pool.

We have from April 11th. until April 18, 2024 spent a vacation in Madeira in Cristina's beautiful house. We felt very comfortable there for two reasons: First: The house is 100% as shown in the pictures. Everything you need is in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped. The beds are super comfortable. What needs to be particularly emphasized is the cleanliness of the entire house. The geographical orientation of the house is perfect for a holiday, as you have sun in the garden, by the pool and on the terrace from around 9:30 in the morning until 8:00 p.m. The pool is heated as described. It almost goes without saying that the garden is also extremely beautiful and well-kept. The whole house has a great view of the village of Arco de Calheta and the sea, but what topped it all for us is the huge terrace. The view from here took our breath away. The terrace is equipped with a comfortable sofa, two sun loungers and a dining table for 4 people. There is an awning above the table to provide shade if needed. The second reason why we felt so comfortable is the host Cristina. As described in the other reviews, we were also greeted with a home-cooked meal. In between there was cake and chocolate. But from our point of view, it is particularly worth mentioning that Cristina is an incredibly nice, polite, empathetic and very kind person. Cristina is an exceptional host - having an evening meal prepared on arrival was a really thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The villa is charming, very well appointed and exactly as advertised - the view is stunning. We’ll particularly miss our morning coffee on the upstairs terrace in the sun! ☀️
