Single villa at the foot of nature reserve breathtaking sea view private pool

The pictures don't show how wonderful it is! We were 6 adults and enjoy our all 2 weeks. The view is amazing and to enjoy it from the pool is soo great. Outdoor kitchen is bigger then it´s looks and we used that every day/evening. We recommend this house for every one at all time! A recommendation is to have a small or big SUV, the road is not the best (but this is Italy..)

I booked this for 1 week with my husband , in-laws and 20 month daughter. Lovely villa , fully equipped (especially with fantastic toys that my daughter loved) Very child friendly on both the villa& courtyard and pool and sun deck area. Definitely big enough for a family to cook, eat and relax. The outside kitchen and shaded eating area are also ideal. Gaetano was always contactable for even the smallest things (even offered to help when we got a puncture) There are local supermarkets/ amenities pretty close and we enjoyed quite a few evening meals at the taking in the view and beautiful sunsets ! And enjoying drinks on the Sun deck . Just as advice for people booking, the road up to the villa ( like most of the hill roads ) is a bit steep/ dirt track so consider a hire car with a bit a clearance and power might be advisable if you’re going to be fully loaded. We’d definitely go back and recommend for friends . Thank you Gaetano !!

Villa Ibiscus is a large, spotlessly clean villa with absolutely breathtaking views. We sat for hours on the terrace both during the day and in the evening just gazing out on the ever-changing colours of the sea and mountains. As others have said, the photos here really don't do it justice. We do, however, have a couple of reasons for not giving this property the full five stars - 1) The track up to it can certainly be problematic, particularly in the dark or in bad weather, it's steep and rocky and our small car struggled in places, especially if we had to stop half way up to let another vehicle pass. If you're not used to this kind of driving then we would strongly recommend making sure you have a powerful car with a high wheel-base, and if possible a 4x4. 2) There was no real internet. The owner provided a plug-in 'web cube' and asked for 20 Euros in cash for it when we arrived, it didn't really work very well and only lasted a few days. 3) The property is quite a long way from any shops and quite a long drive away from any supermarkets. It would be good to have some supplies provided for when you arrive. The owner did sell his wine in the property for 20 Euros but no other supplies were provided. 4) We were told not to use the pizza oven. 5) Although the check-out time is stated as 11am, we were asked to leave at 9.30am as the owner had to clean the property for the next guests, although he did concede that we could stay until 10am after we pointed this out. These are all minor quibbles however, and not intended as a criticism, more as tips for how the property could be even better. Ultimately it is a clean modern villa with the most beautiful views, and a wonderful place to spend a holiday in Sicily.

Very nice and responsive host. The house has a spectacular view over the sea, was very clean and well equipped. The outdoor kitchen is great (pizza oven, barbecue, gas stove etc. etc.). We had a great time there with out two kids.

Dear Gaetano, thanks so much for everything! Your house, the patios and the pool are great and everything was well-equipped and super clean. We really enjoyed the breathtaking views while sitting outside and the kids absolutely loved the little play house and the box of toys. If Sicily were closer, we‘d come again and again!
