Wonderful stay at Bruno and Anna’s place! Bruno is an excellent and hospitable host with great local recommendations, adjusted for his visitors’ preferences.The villa has a well-equipped kitchen, ample storage room in every bed room and is very well maintained.The outdoors is as described in this listing with a 270 degrees view and plenty of outdoor seating opportunities.Thanks again, Bruno, for letting us stay in your villa and for your accessibility!

A beautiful, spacious, well kept property, with all mod cons and a good-sized pool that was very well used! We were 3 generations of the family going on holiday together, and Lara's Villa was ideal, with the children enjoying the games room nearly as much as the pool. Bruno and Ana were brilliant hosts, and provided really useful information on places to go and things to do around Tavira. The extra touches of welcome wine and toys for the children were also much appreciated. Overall a great venue for a family holiday! ?

The house is incredible, well-equiped and offers everything you need for your vacations! The exteriors are big and they offer many places for eating and drinking depending on the time and the sun. The swimming pool is great, big enough and heated just what it takes to refresh you in the day and warm you in the night. Bruno is an incredible guest, he is taking care of you and has many advices to give to enjoy the stay. Tavira is really close (car mandatory) and offers many activities. We really enjoyed our stay and if we once come back to Algarve, it won't be anywhere else!

This house is amazing; nice and spacious and very private with a great view to the see. We loved the roofed terrace next to the pool. Kitchen is very well equiped, including coffee, thee etc. In the basement a variety of games; we used the tabletennis and pooltables intensively.

Really special, high end property, with spectacular views over Tavira and the coast. Beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed for an amazing stay. Great communications and welcome from the owner Bruno - who took time to give some lovely recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Thanks also for the cake to help mark our special celebration! A car is definitely recommended as the house is tucked in the hills away from local shops, beaches and restaurants - a small price to pay for the privacy and views. Overall a lovely stay, highly recommended and would love to return sometime.

This is a beautiful villa with views of the countryside and sea. The villa was perfect for the family who particularly enjoyed the large pool and bbq area.. We were met at the villa by Bruno who showed us and around and was on hand throughout our stay . Tavira town is about 10 mins drive and is a beautiful traditional Portuguese town with lovely restaurants . We would definitely recommend this villa it has everything you need for perfect holiday. This villa looks amazing in the photos but is so much nicer in reality. It is beautiful with amazing views that you never tire of. We had a very relaxing stay in Lara's villa. The villa was cleaned 3 times throughout our stay and the sheets and towels changed too. The pool towels were changed at the end of the week. This was a real treat and felt like we were staying in a hotel. Our host Bruno was very attentive and helpful providing us with information during our stay and recommendations for restaurants. Just before our trip, Bruno provided us with his mobile number so that we were able to Whatsapp him our eta and he gave us gps coordinates to find the villa. A couple of extra kitchen implements would have been helpful but in no way detracted from our stay. We loved it and would return in a heart-beat and would definitely recommend. Thanks

Wow! What a fabulous holiday we had a at Villa Lara!! When we arrived at the Villa we were really delayed due to a problem with the hire car. As we approached there was no missing the Villa high on the hill above Tavira - all lit up as a warm welcome. It was lovely to be greeted by a smiling Bruno who was very reassuring that it was not a problem we were late. In fact he said he was glad we were delayed as it allowed him to complete some finishing touches. These included the installation of a fabulous poolside pergola and TV access to all your favorite stations worldwide!! The Villa is really fabulous inside - open plan and tastefully decorated and very big. It was very well equipped too especially if you like to cook like we do. It was very clean and was cleaned twice a week, with pool towel and linen changes. When we arrived the moon was shining silver on the sea in the distance, hinting at the amazing panorama that was waiting to greet us in the morning. The view is fantastic and we never tired of looking out at it each day. The outside space was amazing - we loved the poolside under the pergola or having lunch in the gentle spray of the water feature. This cascaded to a pond below where a shy turtle lives, joined occasionally by frogs who seemed to enjoy a shower in the waterfall. The main sound is of birds that live around the Villa - they were delightful and we enjoyed their company. You can hear the motorway which runs near - but not too near to be a problem. Access to the supermarket, Tavira, the beach or trips to explore the Algarve couldn't be easier. We even took a day trip to Seville with no problem at all. Tavira is such a lovely town with some great restaurants with fabulous food and the most courteous staff ever. Bruno is a fabulous host, so friendly and generous. Thanks for the wine on arrival and for the birthday cake!! We didn't get to meet Ana but we met the beautiful Lara after whom the Villa is named. Thank you so much for sharing this great place with us and making us feel so much at home.

Bruno and Ana were welcoming and friendly and made us feel comfortable and at ease. The attention to detail in and around the villa was evident everywhere and there was nothing that had been overlooked. It all made for an enjoyable holiday. A lovely place to experience the Algarve weather -swimming in the pool and enjoying the fantastic views over the surroundings towards the sea. Tavira is a favourite of ours and so too is this villa.....we will definitely be back! Andrew and family
