Stayed Jan 24, 2024We booked this casita for six weeks & the entire experience has left a really bad taste in our mouth. What you don't see in the listing photos are the internal issues of the house. The host, Karim, should not be renting this house as it's not in a condition to be rented. He boasts that the house was built in a month in a half, but the quick construction time reveals a slew of problems. The roof has termites & the interior of the house is covered in termite & wood dust on a daily basis. Cleaning services were not offered. We had recurring & frequent water outages, which were beyond a reasonable time frame. We experienced water outages for 12 - 18 hours on back to back days * evenings. The host tried to convince us that this was okay. This was not okay. We could not wash our hands after going to the washroom, could not cook, wash dishes, shower, flush the toilet etc. Imagine having to schedule you day based on hoping that you will have running water during what is supposed to be a vacation. We have a character limit on this review so here are our points: - space not in liveable condition - washing machine not working upon check-in - no personal water well - host has no access to main electrical panel - ignored communication - dismissed gravity of situation - lock for gate did not have keys and we were occasionally locked in/out,which restricted access in & out of the house - NO REFUND (not even partial) GIVEN. Stay away from this place.
