2026 Beach Update:

The City of Isle of Palms has approved a beach nourishment project expected to take place Summer–Fall 2026. While a final schedule has not yet been released, work is anticipated to move along the beach in sections, meaning any impact to a specific area is temporary.

We will share updates as more details become available and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates.

Parking:
Limited to three cars. Beach Club Villa Homeowner’s Association monitors parking.

Beach Chairs and Umbrella:
The Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company will provide your family two classic wooden beach chairs and an umbrella when you stay seven nights (March– October). These are set up on the beach each morning for your family and removed each night by the crew at IOP Beach Chair Company.

Things to note:

Wild Dunes does not have a central resort pool for all visitors. Most neighborhoods and villa communities have their own private pool for guests staying in that specific area. Please note that the pools at the Hyatt Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and the Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved exclusively for Hyatt hotel guests and are not available to vacation rental guests.

The Beach Club Villa Community Pool is open Seasonally: (April 1st - October 31st)

The Wild Dunes Community has a strict no pet policy for non-residents. Pets are not allowed within the gates of the community.

    Great views of the beach from this newly renovated property. Short walk to the beach. Well equipped and decorated. Fair price. Avant, the rental company, was on top of everything from start to finish. Highly recommend.

    Super clean with perfect location on beach. Beds were very comfortable and the home was generously stocked with all things needed. Conveniently located between both Wild Dune golf courses and restaurants just a short and beautiful walk. Loved my morning beach walks. Also a quick drive into Charleston which we did on several evenings. Would 100% rent here again.

    We were here for our annual college friend get together including wives which we have been doing every year since 1974. Location and configuration of the house was great. It was fully equipped as advertised. It is getting just a little tired around the edges

    Perfectly placed with a pool and ocean front! Great place to ride bikes with kids. Loved the openness of the main floor plan. Kitchen was very well stocked. Loved it and would go back!
