Melaza well equipped pretty ideal for families

Loved our break here, the property had everything we needed, there were a couple of teething problems but these were very quickly sorted by Martin who was always available to answer any queries or questions. We know the area having stayed a few times before and immediately felt welcomed and at home.

We liked Villa Melazza, and Martin was welcoming and friendly, and sorted out an initial issue with the air-conditioning very swiftly. The villa and pool were lovely, and there was lots of room and outdoor space with areas to sit. There are shops and restaurants within a few minutes drive. But the were a few things that could be better: the sun beds are quite dirty, don’t seem to have been cleaned at all. The crockery and cutlery is chipped and mismatched. A small thing but doesn’t give a great impression. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are also quite a bit smaller than impression from the photos although the master bedroom is lovely. Be aware also that the patio doors in bedroom 3 open out to a small patch of concrete and another houses drive not to anywhere in the villa. Les Tres Cales is ok - beaches are nice but you get to them is a short drive (or a pretty dodgy walk) under a railway bridge and a motorway. The motorway in particular is very noisy when you sit outside the villa. The area is also quite shabby, quite a few abandoned/ run down buildings or rubble.

Such a lovely villa in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The local shop and bar is within walking distance. Other towns and cities are very accessible. Very clean and spacious. We lived the outdoor area and pool. Especially the outdoor barbecue. Also received a nice welcome pack on arrival of tea/baguette/meat/milk ect and some champagne. Thankyou!

A wonderful holiday at a wonderful villa. The was our first visit to this area of the Costa Dorada, and it definitely wont be our last. We would highly recommend the area, for the traditional local towns, the magnificent Ebro Delta and all the eco-tourism options available there. Also we would like to thank Family Villas for making our stay perfect. We had a problem with our fridge and within half an hour they had a replacement fridge at the villa for us, whilst waiting for the repair of the other one. Their service was excellent.

the villa was lovely and made good use of space, all the bedrooms were very amiable and comfortable to sleep in. the villa was lovely and clean when we arrived. the villa was only 2 minutes drive (20 minutes walk) to a golden sandy beach, and within a 5minute drive of 5 other golden sandy beaches, and a convenient drive to a harbour/village for dinner or a supermarket. the pool was good size and a good depth for the children and the sun loungers were comfy!

We Had a wonderful holiday at Villa Melaza. Communications prior to our visit was helpful and prompt. The villa itself was perfect for our family, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the living area was lovely. We enjoyed wonderful meals and evening swims in the pool. Customer service was excellent, and the directions were excellent, we found it an easy trip from the airport. We enjoyed exploring the locality - villa was within easy reach of a variety of lovely quiet beaches. All in all, a lovely break - thanks.

This was our 2nd family holiday at Villa Melaza and we have just booked again for next year! We find the villa very peaceful and the garden and swimming pool nice and private. We like also to spend time on the roof terrace. The villa is ideal for our family with the grandparents enjoying the master bedroom with ensuite shower room and my self, my husband and children sharing the full bathroom. We like beinf able to walk to the beach and to the supermarket and bakery and Tapas bars. We can not wait for August next year so that we can enjoy the villa again and the beautiful local beaches. We have just returned from our 2nd stay with FamilyVillas! This was our first stay back in June and it was a great villa! We stayed here for 14 days and we loved every minute! I can not fault this property or the managers! I highly recommend this villa for a family! We had our own private pool! A BBQ! The Kitchen had everything u could possibly imagine! There was a hair dryer, dishwasher iron and everything u could need. There was a beautiful big roof with nice views and peaceful! This was the 1st holiday booked through the managers Family Villas, I would highly recommend them! We found them, honest, reliable, helpful and professional and answered all my questions and were very accommodating. I am really fussy when it comes to accommodation and this exceeded my expectations by far! Can't wait to return !!!!
