Maistros villa on a hillside of South Crete with a view of Libyan sea.

April can be horrible in New England. We went to Crete to get a bit of fresh air and some sunshine. While the beginning of the month was clearly before the tourist season by the end of the month all the tavernas and shops were open and busy! The wildflowers all around the southern part of Crete were stunning! The house is new, simple and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. There is a new kitchen and split units for heat and a/c. As the weather was mild when we were there, we didn't need it, but I'm sure come summer they will be essential. The view and pool are amazing. The owner was responsive when we reached out and was fabulous for recommendations on shops, places to go and especially where to eat in the region. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This is a nice villa at a phantastic place. Perfect view to the see, pool terrace is wonderful; nice surrounding area. House is equipped with everything you need, there is even a barbecue place and a pizza oven. Villages Rodakino and Sellia are reachable within some minutes of car driving only, they have nice restaurants; 3 different beaches close by (direction to Rodakino) and some more ad partly very famous ones (like Preveli) also easily reachable by car (30 - 45 mins driving); mountain area in vicinity is also great (e.g. Kourtaliotiko Gorge)

Fantastic property in remote location. You will need a car and you will need to be comfortable driving down some narrow cliffside roads. If you are comfortable with this I would highly recommend. The villa has unrivalled views and fantastic facilities.

This was our first time visiting Greece. My trip planning started with finding this house. I couldn't believe something as beautiful as this existed and it ended up exceeding our expectations. We fell so deeply in love with this property and the location that I told the owner he was going to have to kick us out! Haha! Crete is seriously the stuff that dreams are made of and this house made it feel like an absolute fairytale. If you find this house in your trip planning searches, you don't need to look any further! This is THE ONE!!

We had a lovely time at Maistros. The view from the pool is simply amazing. It is well equipped and close to amazing beaches which are quiet and beautiful. Giannis kept in touch regularly and Monica ensured that we had clean towels and a clean villa. A delightful stay.

Really impressive views, well equipped property. location close enough to Plakias and local villages when we wanted to go out. well looked after by host. TV choice was a bit limited for UK viewers - had BBC world service and Bloomberg Europe and some films in evening in english so would bring some board games next stay.

We stayed one week at Maistros, everything was great, the villa is great with an amazing view ans Giannis the host is very helpful on everything. We definitely recommend it. A car is absolutely needed to go to the closest city, shop and eat in nice greek tavernas...

The property can be slightly difficult to find because of the lack of address (use the geography provided), but it is well worth it once you get there!! It was absolutely beautiful and everything was provided for, thanks Giannis. The property is close to several cute little cliff towns and 5 minutes driving from the beachside. Would absolutely recommend to all!

The villa was in a perfect location with 360 views over the Libyan sea and Cretan mountains. The pool was amazing and so welcoming on the hot days. Giannis was very good at communicating and answering my questions. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back very soon. Efcharistó Giannis
