Magnificent house in Begur with private pool and garden

We had a fantastic stay at this fabulous villa – it is even better than the photos! The villa is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We spent many relaxing days by the pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Begur, just a short drive away, is a pretty town with lovely shops, restaurants, and atmosphere. Dori and Blas were wonderful hosts. We would highly recommend!

It’s a beautiful villa in a great location. We were a party of 7 adults and there was lots of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. The local facilities are great - Begur is a 15 minute uphill walk but it’s really worth it. There are lots of amazing beaches within a short drive too. Dori & her family are great hosts responding really quickly to any queries.

Casa Dori was just what we needed as a base to explore this region of Catalunya. The home is wonderfully appointed with a full kitchen and even an outdoor wood fired grill. The space accommodated us very well and was spacious enough to provide us with different areas to relax in. Even with 8 adults, things never seemed to be tight and when we ate together the outside dining area was ideal. Begur has a lovely rocky beach and picturesque vista of the Mediterranean, but the villa is centrally located within easy reach of several different villages and towns. Try Palafrugell for the food market if the local grocery store doesn't fit your fancy (although it is very well appointed); Peratallada is a beautiful little village; and Girona is 90 minutes away by car for an interesting day trip when you are tired of the beach. Dori and Blas were welcoming and instantly available when there was an issue.

We loved our time in this lovely home in beautiful Begur. Great spacious house with a nice pool and close to many great beaches and towns.

We had a fantastic time here with our two teenage children. The villa far exceeded our expectations - the pictures really do not do it justice! It is very well equipped and stylish. Dori and Blas are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The villa is on the outskirts (15 minute walk) of the village of Begur and within walking distance (25 minutes for us) of beautiful beaches. There is also a beautiful forest right on the doorstep and you can walk to the lovely villa of Tamariu through the forest in an hour - highly recommended. Buses can take you from Begur to the beaches if you don't fancy the walk. There is a large supermarket (Jodofi) 5 minutes walk away which is very convenient - though it is a little expensive - especially for fish! Note that the villa is close to the road so there is road noise. However still 5* and a very enjoyable holiday. Thank you Dori and Blas! The Pattersons
