Overall good. Downhill walk very challenging for elderly, could not manage uphill return. Once down everything OK.

A beautiful spot, we enjoyed magnificent views of the mountains, sea, and sunsets with lots of walks to explore.Three generations of our family enjoyed an amazing stay here at Villa Stone and really enjoyed the barbeque, heated pool, table tennis, darts and all the thoughtful amenities. The Villa is set in secluded beautiful surroundings and is the very spacious and characterful renovation of Miho’s previous family home of which he is very proud. Miho, the property owner, welcomed us with delicious homemade wine and mini strudels made by his Mum, also lots of goodies had been left in the fridge for us. It was so lovely for us all to sit with him and learn about the area and the history of Villa Stone The personal touch made our holiday stay very special.. Thank you so much Miho for making our holiday so special.. Our family have no hesitation in highly recommending this lovely Villa and its owner.

We spent a wonderful week in Kroatia and our trip was made even better because of the amazing Villa Stone and its super helpful owner Miho. We were a party of seven and because the villa offers a stand-alone apartment my sister and her daughter got their own privacy. The villa is beautifully located up against the mountain with amazing views and breathtaking sunsets. Getting to the villa from the airport was quick and easy because Google Maps showed the way perfectly and also the owner Miho lead us the last bit up the winding uphill road. We have lived in many different rental villas previously, mainly in Spain, but this stone house was really something quite different. It oozes character with its beautiful stonework. In short the villa is equipped with everything we needed, and then some. The pool was good sized and heated so even though we were there quite late in the season it was in frequent use especially by the kids. Walking to the beach of Mlini is quick and easy despite the hilltop location. It took us about 12 minutes to walk back up from the pizzeria by the beach. There are other beaches close by also. The spacious shopping mall parking lot is recommended to easily get even the largest vans parked during your grocery shopping or while visiting the beaches and restaurants. We can warmly recommend Villa Stone for your future vacations. A bonus tip is that it is just a 15 minute drive to the magnificent old town of Dubrovnik, which no one visiting these parts should miss out on.

We have rented many villas over the years and found Villa Stone to be one of the very best. Everything is there that you need for a relaxing stay. The pool is fantastic, comfortable sun loungers, blue tooth speakers and all the rooms have air conditioning. Also what really made a difference was our host Miho who was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and was keen to share local history and some local food with us. We found the location to be perfect as we could easily walk down to Mlini and enjoy the beach and restaurants and places like Cavtat and Dubrovnik were a boat or taxi ride away. Would like to go back again.

We had a wonderful week staying at this villa. Everything was well organised from start to finish, arranging transfers from the airport, to Miho meeting us at villa with some tasty homemade pastries and local alcohol! The villa is set in a fabulous location with wonderful views, it is certainly a steep walk down but still only taking 15/20 minutes or so. We were happy to walk down and get an Uber back up, straightforward once we'd got the hang of it! The villa is perfect, ample space for all of us, and homely touches such as pool inflatables for the kids and a well stocked kitchen with bits and pieces we didn't need to buy. Miho is the perfect host, turning up early to tend the pool and often leaving us a gift of wine, chocolate and cake! Mlini is a picturesque place, not very big with a few restaurants to choose from. We ate twice there and also ventured on the water taxi to Cavtat and Dubrovnik for evening meals. Can also highly recommend the Pirate Chef, who we had come in to cook for us on our last night. All in all a wonderful lazy week, we would love to return.

Very helpful contact with property managers prior to holiday. We met the owner on arrival who was lovely and had very thoughtfully provided us with some provisions, snacks, drinks, milk, bread etc to get us going. The Villa was perfect, clean, tidy, good facilities, just what we were looking for, everything we needed was provided and we had a really enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend.

We all had a great time, the kids especially who loved the toys, pool, slide and trampoline. Hosts were great, and we genuinely wished that we stayed another week.

It is rare to find a place that not only meets your expectations but also far surpasses them. Villa Stone is such a place. Booking, communication and payment were all straight forward. Prior to our arrival, all of our questions were answered quickly and completely. Upon our arrival, we were met by the owner, Miho, nearby and escorted to Villa Stone. What a wonderful first impression! The villa was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was stocked with basic necessities and then some including water, beer, wine, snacks, coffee and even homemade strudel. Miho took time to familiarize us with the property, the amenities, local information and some suggestions to make our time wonderful. After a toast, or two, of homemade liquor he departed and we began our vacation. Everything at Villa Stone worked, was clean and high quality. In addition, the rooms were very tastefully decorated, the beds comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The pool was cleaned everyday, was gorgeous and very relaxing. The view from Villa Stone was breathtaking! You can see down to Mlini harbor, islands in the Adriatic and also the mountains leading inland to Bosnia-Herzegovina. A few days into our vacation, Miho took us for a sunset tour high into the mountains overlooking Cavtat and then down to an old mill complete with Roman Aquaducts. Fantastic! Croatia is a great country to visit! Friendly people, lots of natural beauty and a great deal of history. Villa Stone is in a prime location, not too far away from ferries, beaches, mountains, cities and also near enough to Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina to do day trips. In summary, our group of six had a great time, ample room and were still commenting on what a wonderful place Villa Stone is and how attentive Miho was thoughout the trip. I strongly recommend you give it a try, I think you will have a great vacation!

Beautiful Villa in beautiful location with lovely sea views. Everything about it was fantastic from the immaculate pool to the fully air-conditioned lovely rooms. We couldn’t have chosen better! Miho the owner is exceptional. He welcomed us to his villa with homemade drinks and nibbles and a well stocked fridge while giving us lots of recommendations for local restaurants and day trips to near by islands. Lokrum island is well worth a visit! We were blown away by his kindness and would not hesitate to recommend or return to this villa. Gary, Alison & family Scotland
