Luxury Modern Villa, 22m Infinity Pool and Total Privacy

The hosts were very accommodating. The home has spectacular views and is very comfortable with all the amenities. It is a hike to get there, but we made it with no problems. The home is a short drive to dining and groceries, but it also can be a resort in and of itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Our stay at Casa Blanca was magical! This property was the centerpiece of an unforgettable trip; a private slice of heaven. The moment you arrive you step into a secret botanical garden in a private rainforest oasis. This property in the hills offers breathtaking 360-degree views of ocean & rainforest. It is peaceful, secluded & only a short minutes' drive from the center of town. You get the best of both worlds: total privacy & easy access to all amenities, restaurants & beaches. Relaxing in the pool we saw geckos, frogs, toucans, howler monkeys & macaws. Watching butterflies dance around the garden while breathing in Jasmine & Ylang-ylang was mesmerizing. Viewing gorgeous sunsets while the jungle came alive around us is an experience I’ll never forget. The home is impeccable & equipped with everything you need. The open floor plan sets the vibe for ultimate relaxation; the perfect balance of luxury & nature. The rooms are spacious & every room offers stunning views. Waking up to that scenery each day is a privilege. Huge thank you to our hosts, Mike & JC, who were wonderful from start to finish. Communication was prompt & they were helpful with suggestions for activities & dining. They truly care about their guests' experience.Thank you to Maria & Eduardo, who keep the property in immaculate condition. They were there if we needed anything, but masterful at being invisible when we didn't. If you’re looking for a private sanctuary, this is the paradise you’ve dreamt of.

Breathtaking views & tranquility

Hands down our favorite house rental we’ve ever stayed & we travel alot. We traveled with our 3 kids (7, 11, 13yrs). The house was absolutely gorgeous, very clean, well decorated, every amenity we needed. The pool was the best- the kids loved. The views will forever stay in my memory with the ocean & sunset views and the jungle all around. So many little areas around the property. So peaceful, you really feel in heaven.Michael and staff were so kind, very fast to respond and helped all the way from the first message to check out. My only suggestion would be to find some solutions to cool down the livingroom & kitchen area as from 11- 3pm it gets very hot (& we are not big AC people) also, the house is well up the hill, way off the main & off road- you must have a good SUV.We hope to come back very soon!

Our first trip to the Nicoya Peninsula set the bar VERY high! Villa Casa Blanca is stunning and Mike, the owner/manager is an excellent host. The hands-on team and family that welcome guests and take care of the property are friendly, discreet, accommodating and efficient. The house and outdoor kitchen and all deck/lounging areas and huge pool were kept spotlessly clean and comfortable. We spent 3 weeks here and we loved every minute of it. Tropical birds visit the gardens & trees everyday! Sunsets for a lifetime! And Lucy is a wonderful, fun, gentle house dog who we immediately loved! I just hope we can return again and again!

This is our tenth or eleventh time staying at Casa Blanca and every year the owners make improvements beyond our expectations. The staff takes care of every need and makes sure we have clean towels, fresh linens and the 2 ice machines make sure you never run out, which is important

We have been coming to Mal Pais/Santa Teresa for many years and we would never stay anywhere besides Casa Blanca!! The owners, Michael and Juan Carlos, are continually updating, renovating and improving everything down to the last detail. It gets better every year!! The caretakers, Eduardo, Maria and family are absolutely wonderful and we look forward to seeing Lucy the dog every year! They are all like family to us after staying at Casa Blanca for over 10 years. You will not find a better location, house, pool or view in Mal Pais/Santa Teresa.

When we began our search for a place to rent in Costa Rica we were struck by the beautiful pictures and the many five star reviews of Casa Blanca so we decided to choose this house for our family vacation. From the moment we reserved the house Mike was beyond helpful and answered all of our questions. When we arrived we were blown away by the beautiful grounds and the house! It's even better than in the pictures. The gate opens and you feel like you have been transported to paradise! We were also greeted by the best meal ever prepared by Maria which was so nice considering our long travel day. The pool overlooking the ocean is amazing and long enough to do laps. All the bedrooms are so comfortable and our family of 5 (2 adults and three older kids age 23,21,18) had more than enough room. Mike suggested getting an ATV (we had a car too) and that turned out to be so much fun!! The ride to the house is not far from town and an fun ride to the beach. Some days no one even wanted to go to the beach because the house hang was so amazing!! We have rented many times in the area and Casa Blanca is by far the best house we have stayed in. We are already counting the days until we can come back!! Thank you Mike for all your help and suggestions which made our trip seamless, and thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. Also a huge thanks to Maria and Eduardo for taking such good care of us throughout the week!! We loved every minute.

My family has rented vacation homes for over 20 years and the Villa Casa Blanca experience was the best we have ever had. The house and grounds are very well maintained. The design of the house is architecturally stunning. All four bedrooms were very beautiful. The negative edge 22m lap pool was exactly as pictured and in great shape. We used it extensively both for laps and general hangout fun. The kitchen, cooking equipment and exceptional outdoor kitchen with a large Big Green Egg smoker and high end Napolean gas grill were fantastic and although we had planned to eat out most evenings we ended up cooking at the villa 3 nights. The pre-trip information provided by Michael was abundant and clear. As the villa access could be quite daunting upon first arrival, Michael made sure that we were met in Santa Teresa and escorted to the house. As we arrived after dark that this was a particularly welcome service. A 4x4 vehicle was a must. Throughout our stay Michael continued to be most helpful with regards to activity bookings, recommending and connecting us with a private boat tour operator, a private chef for a catered dinner on Xmas day, and surfing lessons. We had a problem with one of the A/C units and Michael ensured that it was promptly taken care of. The couple taking care of the house and providing housekeeping services were excellent. Arriving at Casa Blanca leaves you speechless. The picture simply does not compare to what you find. This Villa is certainly one of the best Villas we’ve stayed in over the many years. The attention to detail is magnificent. The layout of the house allows each person in each room to have their privacy and independence. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook - if that’s what you want. And the views from the Living Room and Dining Room over the Ocean at Sunset are simply sublime. And the list goes on with an amazing dining/BBQ area totally equipped, a pool lounge area that’s totally chill out. And then it goes on. The Massage/Yoga Cabin, the workout area, the private spaces of the Day Bed and the lower walks through a magnificent garden. The lush and tropical planting is carefully planned. The bedrooms are spacious with Air Con, sealed rooms (for those of us who don’t need creepy crawlies from the tropics). The internet is perfect for those of us working remotely or needing to keep in touch. And of course the infinity pool overlooking the expansive ocean is one where we spent every day but especially sunsets. The views are stunning as the house if completely private with views to the jungle and to the ocean. Our team had an amazing and peaceful stay. Santa Teresa is just minutes away and there are so many great restaurants, boutiques and grocery stores. What a special place. Thanks you Casa Blanca Team!
