Large modern house near Mon Choisy beach and close to shops

The property was located off the main road and was very quiet.it was a short 10 minute walk to the beach.There were a few local shops,,restaurants and a bakery.Public buses pass by regulary although we would suggest a car is a must.The house is lovely with a well maintained tropical garden and an outdoor swimming pool that is un heated. The rooms are spacious with air con and the kitchen has everything you need.Maurine the cleaner keeps the place well maintained. Tristan the owner was very responsive and helpful.We would definately like to stay here again.

When we first arrived in Mauritius, one of our bags did not make the flight and it took an extra 2 hours at the airport before we could leave. Tristan had arranged for an airport transfer and we were worried that our driver may have given up on us. We were so relieved he waited! The drive from the airport takes about an hour depending on traffic. We were met by Maureen, the housekeeper who had prepared a Mauritius dinner for us and after a long flight, long layover and lost luggage, having dinner waiting for us was wonderful. The location of the house was perfect for us - just a block or two from several very good restaurants and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool in the backyard is very nice and was cleaned often. We were delighted to find a giant tortoise in the private garden just behind the pool. He was very friendly, liked having his head rubbed and loved eating the bananas we gave him. I absolutely fell in love with him! Tristan was available via Whatapp when we had a couple of questions and extremely pleasant and helpful. Though only my husband and I stayed here, the house could easily accommodate a larger family or small group. We will recommend Tristan’s place to any of our friend planning to visit Mauritius.

Enjoyed 11 nights at the villa. The villa had a pet turtle living in the back of the garden he was adorable and so friendly. U get a cleaner come Every morning apart from Sunday’s she will wash and iron for you and cook if u need. We hired a car though the villa that was fantastic it was at the villa waiting for us. There is bars and shops 2 mins walk and the best beach’s. We found it very safe to walk around at night too. Make sure u bring some bath towels because u only get 1 each at the villa. The different trips to the private islands was the best experience I’ve ever had so make sure you book some. We didn’t use the pool as it was too cold but I bet it’s lovely when it’s summer. You do have people live very close to the villa but there all very nice. The owner was very helpful and kind he always sorted out any problems straight away Thank you Tristan
