Located only 12 km (8 miles) south of Florence, on a 20 acre private estate, this two-story shingled traditional Tuscan villa dates back to 17th century. After a complete renovation, this luxurious property provides now a great space, modern comfort and privacy, while still reflecting the quintessential ideal of the Tuscan country house. The exquisite décor of the interiors exudes an understated elegance. The preserved original fine details and materials, such as old terracotta bricks, the stone façade, the big open-hearth fireplace and wood beamed ceilings, welcome the guests in a timeless, serene and magical retreat.

OUTSIDE FEATURES

The villa opens out onto a covered porch provided with a generous dining table and a furnished lounge area. From the outdoor spaces is possible to enjoy amazing views of the Tuscan famous hills. The manicured garden is hedged for privacy, and a gentle path leads to a secular oak tree, under which is set a second living area with design couch and armchairs above the organic shaped private salt water pool and the sun deck provided with sun-beds. The villa is surrounded by 20 acres of land, cultivated with 600 olive trees and vineyards

Its sense of calm, thanks to its relaxed furnishing, color palette, and warm hospitality, is an ode to a more gentle and sweet life

The extensive grounds ensure privacy and plentiful options for rest and relaxation, and the staff is aimed to provide a high level of hospitality to all visiting guests

The owner lives on-site in separate private quarters and is available to assist with guests’ needs and requests throughout their stay

In line with our commitment to thoughtful hospitality and responsible sustainability, electricity is charged separately based on actual consumption. Meter readings are taken at both check-in and check-out, with usage billed at €0.50 per kWh consumed. As a general guideline, electricity costs typically range between €30 and €60 per day, depending on guests’ consumption and energy habits during their stay.
We kindly encourage our guests to be mindful of energy usage by switching off lights and air-conditioning units when leaving the house. Our climate-control systems are highly efficient and cool the rooms quickly, making it unnecessary to leave them running when spaces are unoccupied.
We believe that conscious energy use not only helps preserve the beauty of the environment surrounding us, but also reflects the spirit of care and respect with which we welcome our guests and thoughtfully steward our estate

- In the winter months, heating is charged at 15 € /hour based on approximately 8 hours of typical daily use to keep the house warm and comfortable throughout the day. The system is timer-controlled and can be adjusted to suit the guests’ needs.

- Security deposit: € 700,00 in cash at check in

- Elopement or boutique wedding fee (maximum capacity: 25 guests)
