Professionally Managed by Deserving Vacations!
This 2BR/2BA villa sleeps 6 and overlooks a large lagoon and the Links Golf Course #4 green. Each of the 2 bedrooms has its own full bath, 2 queen beds, and a covered balcony (great for watching wildlife). Lagoon Villas complex also has its own private pool and is a short walk to the beach, the Grand Pavilion, and Wild Dunes restaurants. Bike rentals are available within walking distance so that you may enjoy walking/biking throughout the resort.
Enjoyed our stay. Unit is clean and I enjoyed having the pool. Nice walking/ biking trails all around. I preferred this property over a stand alone house. Kitchen is fully equipped, bedrooms are large but bathrooms are a little small. Beds are comfortable .
We had a very comfortable stay here. It is very clean which is important to me!!
Everything was wonderful. The process of checking in could not be easier and the contacts for the property were very quick to respond. Access to the grounds was super easy. The location was great. It was quick walking distance to the Wild Dunes Resort and beach which was key for us and the villa was super quiet. Despite having weather that everyone kept telling us never happens in May (60 degrees and raining), we were still able to enjoy ourselves, and this villa was very comfortable. The only thing I could say, is that for someone who’s traveling by plane, a few beach chairs and a cooler would go a very long way. You can rent an umbrella and chairs at the beach but it’s $25 per item and so for a family of five it can get expensive each day. Regardless, overall I still give this property five stars. Highly recommend.
Perfect for 4 adults. Wild Dunes is an awesome property. Unit was well supplied with cooking utensils and eating supplies. Pleased.
Staying here made our trip to Charleston perfect. We had a girls weekend and spent 4 days here. Close to the pool and beach, clean. We got locked out once due to a mechanical problem and they had it fixed in under an hour.
We came to the Charleston area for the Cooper River Run. It’s easy to get the start of the race. Wild Dunes is a great home base for relaxing or adventuring. Loved the Tennis Center. We can’t wait to go back! Comfortable condominium, decorated wonderfully, has everything a vacationer could want.
The villa was exactly as described. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Easy to book, email came a couple days before check in with all the info we needed to get through gates and doors. Thank you to the owner for the veteran's discount which made it possible for us to afford this beautiful location while visiting our Airman.
Could not have asked for a nicer, more helpful, prompt and responsive property manager. Place was spacious and decorated so nicely. We felt right at home in this lovely place with everything we needed at our fingertips!!!
Only thing needed were more trash bags !
This is our 2nd time in two years staying at a condo on the Lagoon Villas property. We absolutely love this area and it’s perfect for our family of 5. Being from Ohio, I usually prefer to stay Oceanside, however we really like this location which overlooks the lagoon. It’s fun to sit on the balcony and watch the wildlife. Specifically, the resident alligator has become a fun “I Spy” game for us. But don’t worry—he only makes a brief appearance once a trip for us and always stays in the water. Our kids are older (15 and above) so the short walk to the beach (7minutes—I timed it!!) is not a big deal. If you have really small kids you might want to consider staying a little closer but elementary school age and beyond will be fine. You’ll need a wagon if you’re like us and take lots of stuff to the beach. We loved that this property had bikes available to use. Definitely recommend taking a cruise around the gated community on them. This unit was clean (a little dirty around baseboard areas which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars). The dining table is awesome for a family of 5 or 6 and the living area also had ample seating. Lots of movies to choose from so movie night was a win! Beds and pillows are comfy. It’s nice there were two queen beds in both bedrooms. Love to use the pool too—it’s never too busy! Another thing we enjoy is the close proximity to Charleston. We love to drive in to the city and take in the history, restaurants, and shopping. We’d also recommend going ten minutes to Sullivan’s Island to Poe’s Tavern for their awesome burgers! Kayaking at Shem’s Creek was another fun activity our family did. I would definitely stay here again but I do have some suggestions for the property managers. We ended up needing some extra supplies since we were there for 6 days. We called and they were very pleasant and attentive. I would suggest, however that you upgrade the quality of toilet paper as well as the amount. It was really really cheap and for an extra couple of bucks would set a better tone. In addition, it would be nice to have more dishwasher tabs from the onset. Being there six days, we were only given 3 tabs which was not enough but we called and we were promptly given more. Again, these are not deterants, just suggestions. We took extra toilet paper, dish detergent and paper towels and ended up using our own. Great experience! Great vacation! We love the location!
