We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Alina in October of 2023. This property is magnificent! We loved the peaceful surroundings in a small town in Tuscany, and yet we were such a close drive to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, Panzano, etc etc etc. Best of both worlds - enjoy the peaceful rolling hill's of Tuscany while getting to all of the best cites in Tuscany. Kimberly Pucci is a great owner! Awesome to communicate with us before booking AND We also want to say what an AMAZING treasure Alessandra Innocenti is as our local hostess. Alessandra took the time to communicate with us before during and after our trip to Casa Alina. Sometime several times a day while we were there! She is a treasure of Tuscany, a wealth of knowledge, and made great suggestions to us from what towns to visit, restaurants to eat at, the best places to shop, and on and on. She also helped arrange transportation for us, Francesco was also an amazing host and drive us from Rome to Casa Alina with a great trip through Florence. Our trip would not have been the same without Alessandra Innocenti! Italy should be proud of Alessandra! Book this property, you will be so happy you did!

Staying at Casa Alina was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Europe. From the moment you walk into the courtyard, you are taking a step back in time but soon realize you have all the modern conveniences of home. The villa was so well stocked, the only thing we needed to purchase was food. We were met by a precious couple who explained everything to us and who went above and beyond to see that we were settled. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. I give it 4 times the amount of stars allowed!

Dear Pucci Family, We had a fantastic stay at Casa Alina. We arrived to the warm welcome of Laura and Roberto, who greeted us with kindness and a full Italian dinner cooked by Laura! The house is amazing, spacious and elegant. We enjoyed the local town of Montespertoli and our adventures in Florence. We really appreciated Certaldo's old center. We had the most amazing experience with Benedetta who offered us a cooking lesson, complete with Caprese salad, Lasagne, Chicken Cacciatore, Tiramisu, bread and wine. Definitely a MUST do! Our family had a splendid time. Thank you so very much. Warmly, Ann, Beth, Chad & Adin New York City & San Francisco

On a dreary day in February, my sister and I arrived to find this hidden (literally –keep your eyes peeled for the sign Via Ortimino) gem nestled amongst the Tuscan hills, very conveniently located in the Montespertoli region. Upon our arrival we were met by Laura and husband Robert with arms loaded full of amazing lunch goodies! Little did we know how fond we would become of Laura’s amazing meals – including breakfast baskets stuffed to the rim with fresh eggs, yogourt, coffee, fruit and croissants. The villa is beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings, including the most amazing wrought iron beds with sheets that made it hard to climb out of bed each day in spite of the draw of Florence (30 min drive or train ride), of Lucca, of MONTECATINI Terme (amazing hot springs/spa), of Siena and so many neat little towns. Casa Alina is spotless, roomy and an oasis of comfort – we loved our 3 weeks there! Only thing we ‘missed’ was a full-size coffee maker however we did have fun with the traditional coffee brewer. We came to Italy from Canada and so expected to not find it as chilly as we did; in fact we ended up putting on the heat every day which in hindsight was more expensive than we had realized – next time we will incorporate this expense into our budget (Kimberley can provide an average cost to you in advance) should you visit in the winter months. As the owner, Kimberley made herself available to us at all times and was extremely responsive. We rented this fabulous little Fiat with a GPS that we nicknamed Maria whom never failed to get us from adventure to adventure! Can’t wait to return to Casa Alina in the future. Enjoy!!!

We had the best times and loved your mother and father-in-law coming over to deliver such delicious meals! Yum! They are adorable. Thank you again for your gracious hospitality! I look forward to returning to Casa Alina and will recommend it to all of my friends.

We stayed at Casa Alina for three weeks during the month of February. We felt at home in your home. When we walked in, the warm colours and warm feeling was so special. Your home is so elegant, comfortable and charming. Your kitchen had all the tools to cook anything we desired. So calm and peaceful. There is so much detail in the home. Nothing is overlooked. Even heated towel racks. I'm spoiled for life now! Your in the heam of Chianti vineyards and picture postcard views from every angle. Had sun and nice weather for mid February. Love the cats and rooster in the morning! Could not believe all the old architecture and how well it looks. Siena, Lucca were lovely day trips. Great food and wine tours you suggested were wonderful! The support you provided, the care and warmth of your family, the fabulous catered meals...were so very special and appreciated. Laura is amazing! And I hate to admit she put five pounds on us. Thank you and your family for making our stay one of the most wonderful travel experiences we have ever had! Hope to return soon...

Kimberly, 10 years later and just as beautiful as ever! We had a wonderful time and I leave Casa Alina making a promise that it will not be 10 years until I return. We drive thru the countryside saying this is the most beautiful place on Earth. Thank you for sharing your home and keep in touch. Hopefully I will see you in RI. Oh- your mother-in-law is adorable. We just love her...and her food! Her cooking is fantastic, especially the cake. Maybe she can share the recipe :) Thanks again!

Casa Alina is located in Montespertoli, one of the many hilltop towns in Tuscan, not far from Florence. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which were roomy with large windows. The other bedroom is on the third floor right under the peak of the roof and quite small. Montespertoli is a quaint town in its own right, but was also a great base for exploring other historic Tuscan towns such as Siena, San Gimignano, and others. The local winery (formerly owned by the Machiavelli family) produces award winning Chianti and Vino Santo. We enjoyed an informative tour of their operation and sampling the goods over a delicious lunch. I would not hesitate to go back to Casa Alina if I could. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family who want to visit Italy while staying away from the hordes of tourists.
