Stayed Jun 26, 2024What a fantastic stay for our family. Location is amazing—close to Chania, but far enough away for privacy, peace and quiet. Three beaches within a few miles that are calm warm waters perfect for families with kids of all ages. Good coffee freddo/grocery/tavernas nearby. Easy central location for wonderful day car trips to Chania, Knossos and Sfakia. Pool at the house was exceptional and daily view of sunset over the sea was gorgeous and rejuvenating. We were so fortunate to spend a week here. Lydia greeted us and helped guide us both prior and during our stay—we’re so grateful for her spot-on recommendations. This is really a phenomenal home in a perfect location for a stay in Crete. We are US citizens who regularly travel at least twice yearly abroad with our now tween/teen child. We like to shop local markets, cook and eat locally when we travel, and genuinely spend time in one place and relax. This house was the perfect place for us to enjoy our time on Crete.
