Beautiful typical farmhouse, in stone and brick, immersed in the Tuscan countryside and 15 minutes from the center of Florence.
Quiet property with a courtyard and a loggia, surrounded by an olive grove and overlooking a breathtaking valley. The house is very well connected both to Florence and to the main Tuscan cities of art, all of which can be visited in a day. The Impruneta, capital of Tuscan terracotta is a very pleasant country, with shops and restaurants and can be reached on footin a quarter of an hour.
The house consists of a large living room, a modern kitchen, a fireplace room and a bathroom, on the ground floor while on the first floor there are four double bedrooms, a bedroom with a French bed and two bathrooms (one of which is in the bedroom).
The property is independent and in a private position, enjoys a large amount of sunshine and a particular harmony with the surrounding nature.

The property was beautiful! It had large bedrooms and living room. The grounds were well kept and the scenery was unforgettable. The reason for the three stars is because the property was about 30 to 45 minutes away from city center. 30 minutes if you are taking an Uber and there is no traffic. 45 to 60 minutes if taking a bus. The driver from the train station to the property charged 150 euros the day of our arrival and departure. The first night at the property, we took the bus in from the property without knowing that the buses stop running at 8:30pm. The taxi/uber to and from the property from Florence was 80 to 100 euros each time. One day there was a marathon in Florence, so no buses were coming out to Impruneta until after 11am. This was a day we were planning a trip to Venice. The town of Impruneta has a grocery store, bakeries and restaurants. It was very nice and within walking distance. I would definitely have a car though, when staying at this property because the taxi/uber rides added up. Florence is just coming alive at 8pm so leaving before then to catch a bus, was not ideal. Public transportation is not as accessible as we thought it would be. However, the property was clean and updated. The house did not disappoint, just the limitations imposed by the location and public transportation.

I rate this Villa stay highly as it provided the experience I and my family wanted. A beautiful front patio/courtyard area that had sun from early morning to evening. We spent so much time there with the sun and the wonderful view. There is a path through the olive grove into Impruneta which was a must and there is a winery on that path. The house is comfortable though a coffee machine would be nice.Antonio was very helpful and it helped planning a wonderful stay.

This old Tuscan house captured our imagination. The main house is approximately 200 years old and the original charm has been maintained. It has been in the same family for generations. Of course it now has all the modern conveniences, including good WiFi connections in the salon/dining areas. It was a little weak in the back of the bedrooms, likely because the walls are solid stone and around 50 cm thick. We cooked most of our meals on site and would have taken advantage of the loggia for grilling had the weather been just a little warmer. The location was perfect for us - just a half hour bus ride to Florence and an hour by car to Pisa. The bus stop is conveniently located at the top of the driveway. The charming town of Impruneta was only a few minutes away where we did our grocery shopping, pizza purchasing, cappuccino drinking and gelato indulging. This place gets my highest rating. It was easy to check in and the property manager was very friendly, helpful and responsive.

Antonio was a wonderful host. He met us and explained everything. The home is less than 30 minutes from Florence,we visited and did a tour of the city. There are many wineries close by for tastings and tours, which we also did. Antonio explained a path through the olive groves that lead to a gas station which has a wonderful restaurant and bar attached. We had a great meal one night and several cappuccinos in the AM. There is a grocery store further up the mountain, we walked it. I hope we can make it back and stay a bit longer very soon.
