Charming 2 BR casita, close to the beach and fully equipped.

It was exactly like we expected and like the picture show. Nice localisation and good place for the price.

I would not rent this place ever again.

The villa in Hermosa Heights was perfect for us-great patio and view, the property had a nice pool and mini golf. William from Costa Rica Brokers was very responsive and helpful with questions and planning.We felt very safe in the community and loved that we were close to the beach. You could walk to beach but it’s hilly. We usually drove down and parked for free on street leading to beach. Having 3 restaurants on the beach was great! An added bonus was the Super Bowl watch party at Aqua Sport! There was a small but nice market (Luperon) right in town. We did day trip excursions to Coco, Tamarindo, Cortez waterfall and Monteverde. Easy to navigate around. Overall, a great vacation!

Our family arrived at this property after a lovely stay in Arenal Volcano area. The reception of Jennifer was in stark comparison from the area we had just been. She was masked up and cold in receiving us and things only got worse. The property was in a gated grounds that was in disrepair. The tile roofs were shabby and worn out. Developments around the area have not been finished or worked on for many years and therefore bring the entire area down to a depressing level. The actual unit is not in any way a “villa” as stated in description. It is a dark, dated, apartment type unit. The parking is down a steep hill. Luggage must be wheeled up by you quite a ways up this parking lot. The pool is dated and small and didn’t impress or feel like vacation. The view on patio was nice. But that is the only positive I can provide. The place is dark. Simply put. Not beachy, not Costa Rican, not vacation. Just depressing and dated. The beach is not in anyway a 15 minute walk. Nor would I want to walk down the street with my kids. The dining options are bad. The toilets don’t want to flush. There is only one shower. And a 1980’s style garden tub. The shower was gross. The kitchen was dated and clean, with some cheap utensils. If you have a limited budget and want to try staying here, I suggest you save your Pennies and go to CR when you can spend more. We booked 4 nights and stayed one. Jennifer wanted to use what’s app to communicate which is frowned upon by the Vrbo community. There needs to be a paper trail. That being said, when she switched to communication on the Vrbo app, she only argued that the property was fine. And saw none of my concerns as valid. We ended up forfeiting the money spent here. No recourse. I hate that about the gamble of vacation rentals. Our stay was then spent in an amazing place that rekindled our love of the wonderful country of Costa Rica.

She actually met us at the condo late at night to walk us through and gave us tips about the area. She also set us up with some nice tours and surf lessons. The condo was very nice, clean and comfortable. The view was spectacular. I would recommend this accommodation and this are of Costa Rica to visit without a doubt.
