Casa Mogambo: 3-Acre Ocean View Nature Estate in Manuel Antonio

Casa Mogambo is a dreamy paradise!! Our family plus another had a wonderful week fully immersed in the beautiful jungle, surrounded by all of the animals people were trying to see in the National Park, right outside our patio and along the scenic driveway. The house is fully stocked with anything you could need, the staff is loving and doting and the views can't be beat. Our families made bucket list memories and we hope to venture back someday!

Even more gorgeous than pictures indicate. We loved it. Nine people, and plenty of room. Steep driveway doesn't allow for easy walking but that didn't stop us from powering up the hill to see an anteater climbing a tree, shown to us by kind groundskeeper Ramon. We paid extra for Chef Sofia and her meals were amazing. I would recommend buying produce on your trip from the airport because local stores don't have a great selection.

Amazing stay! Vanessa, our concierge, had everything set up and took care of so many details--including chasing down an extra air mattress and staying late the first night when we were delayed getting in. Erreldy (housekeeper) and Ramon (groundskeeper) speak mostly Spanish but could communicate well enough--towels were replenished frequently (enough for pool AND beach, plus reusable beach bags available!). Ramon showed us 2 sloths on property, plus just from the pool balcony we could see howler monkeys and squirrel monkeys, as well as macaws.The only drawback is the STEEP driveway--we managed it by parking our truck at the top of the driveway and walking the driveway every time we wanted to leave. It would not be great for elderly or super young kids, but for us (ages 7-48), it was a fun way to get a little exercise.I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect in every way! Pictures don’t do it justice. House was very clean, laid out very well and nice and private. The housekeeper, groundskeeper and concierge were all so nice to deal with and were happy to help with any needs. Chef Sofia made the most delicious meals for our group of 8 - would highly recommend treating yourself to some dinners in! Thanks to all for an amazing week!

If you are looking for a beautiful home in a very private and peaceful location to gather with family or friends, to relax and enjoy each other, and be entertained by sloths, a variety of monkeys, and tropical birds, this is the house for you! Our family of eight, ages 8-69, spent five nights at Casa Mogambo and loved every moment of our family vacation. We live far apart so only all get together once a year or every two years, and this house has everything we wanted, and more, for our first visit to Costa Rica. The description of the house, its amenities and the staff are very accurate. In fact, it's even better than described - very spacious, tastefully decorated, beautiful views from every room, plenty of bathroom, pool and beach towels, fully stocked kitchen, and a lot of outdoor places to relax and enjoy the wildlife. The owner, Nicole, and concierge, Vanessa, were in contact with us numerous times from the time we booked until after we arrived back home, helping with all aspects of our visit - travel arrangements, a private chef, two excursions and getting cabs for us. They were terrific!!! And the household staff, Erreldy and Ramon, were friendly, helpful (especially with our grandchildren and spotting wildlife for us) and never in the way. We were all reluctant to leave this slice of paradise when it was time to go home. We would definitely stay here again.

Casa Mogambo is amazing. One of the best vacation spots we've found. The house is perfect. You have an amazing view of the ocean and are able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the jungle with surrounding wildlife. The house is clean and very comfortable. The staff are all amazing! I can't say enough about how wonderful the stay was and I highly recommend Casa Mogambo for a great family experience. Don't pass this one up!

Casa Mogambo is a magical house! Everything is perfect including the magnificent view, the furnishings and the friendly concierge, housekeeper snd groundskeeper. If you want to relax and feel pampered this is the place! Also highly recommend the personal chef, Sofia! If you are looking for a wonderful stay in Manuel Antonio this is your place. I hope to be lucky enough to return one day!
