Bright villa, swimming pool, large private garden.

Great clean and well equipped property, lovely village.

We loved staying in this open spacious villa. It had fantastic pool and family spaces and was incredibly clean and comfortable. A very well provisioned kitchen made cooking a pleasure! I’d say that a car is essential for the location but it’s in a great spot to enjoy everything the coast has to offer. A special shout out to the Bistro des Alberes (Jerome and Marie) who may have the best bar in the world in the prettiest square in the village. Ten minutes walk from the villa and one of the highlights of our holiday!

Beautifully maintained property in a peaceful location.

We had a great 2 week holiday. The property owner and manager were both extremely helpful and responsive in all aspects of the booking. The house itself is brilliant - very clean and well equipped with lots of space and effective air conditioning. The pool is large and cleaned twice a week. In terms of location it's hard to beat as you get the best of both worlds - house is on the edge of a small town (only 7-8 walk from shops) with amazing views of the Alberes mountains, but only 15 mins drive away from the coastal towns of Collioure and Argelès-sur-Mer. There is so much to do for all ages but we didn't get to visit everything we had planned, so aiming to return again! The property is so comfortable it really is a home from home.

We were very impressed. The vacation home offers much more than described. We spent a very nice time in the house, we did not miss anything. The kitchen equipment had more to offer than some people have at home. Everything is generously and lovingly furnished. Very clean and comfortable. There are numerous places to stay, whether in the house, in the garden or on the terrace. The children were thrilled by the pool and the available toys. The manager is also very friendly, discreet and helpful. Many thanks!!!!

This is a beautiful, comfortable home from home. The manager and the owner of the property are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The pool is Fabulous, our children loved swimming around in it. The local village is only a few minutes walk and it has a shop and a few other amenities, however I would recommend a car to see the region properly. The house is situated in a beautiful part of France and it's well worth touring around. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 in the house and we could have easily fit more people. I would definitely recommend a visit to this house. Thank you to the owner for sharing her lovely house with us.

Villa is large and airy. Well equipped and convenient Pool well looked after and safely fenced. Terraces at the front and the back of the house. mattresses excellent! All good. We had a great week.

We had a great stay in this spacious and comfortable house. We were shown around upon arrival and the house has everything you need including plenty of towels! The pool area is great including the outdoors dining table. The pool is a good size and was a nice temperature. The village has a couple of bakeries and two mini supermarkets and there is a Carrefour about 5mins drive away. We had great day trips to Ceret, the mountains, Argeles sur mer beach and to Aquabrava waterpark in Spain (just less than an hour’s drive).

We, a family of 4 enjoyed our stay of 14 days in this house very much. The house is well equipped, and has everything you need if you want to cook or just relax by the house. The pool is big and the garden is beautiful and suitable for activities. We can really recommend this house, which has a very helpful owner and a contact person in the city. St Genis is a lovely little place with two very good bakeries, a very good pizzeria and a nice restaurant. You need a car to get around, there are so many beautiful places to see in this area. The beach is just a short drive away (10 minutes), and you have very good restaurants in the neighbour ‘city’, only 5 minutes away. We loved our stay very much and hope to come back one day.

This was a great house that suited our needs. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We were lucky to be able to book the property at the last minute - it usually is booked early. The property manager and owner were helpful. St-Genis-des-Fontaines is a quiet little town, easy access to highway to take you to the coast about 30 minutes away (you really need a car if you're going to book this property). The Canigou mountain is visible if you walk about 5 minutes up the road along a quiet country road. Beautiful.
