Boat Trip to Île aux Cerfs: We can organize a boat trip from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with a BBQ lunch at a discounted price.

Additional Services: Airport transfers, car rentals, and excursion trips are also available for booking.

Daily Maid Service: The maid cleans daily, except on public holidays and Sundays. She can also prepare delicious meals for an additional cost.

Convenience Store: A shop is conveniently located at the entrance for all your necessities.

Dining & Essentials: Restaurants, pharmacies, and a pizzeria are within walking distance.

Our group of fourteen family members occupied the entire villa, including the studio which the host graciously let us use. It was easy, and relaxing, for many to spend most of their time at the villa as our main purpose was to gather as a family; besides, most in the group were already familiar with the area. The younger ones particularly enjoyed the large pool whilst senior members would be up at 5:30am to watch the fabulous sunrise over the calm lagoon. One evening Cindy, the housekeeper, doubled as a chef and prepared for us a delicious dish of poisson à la créole plus a carri ourite. All in all, a memorable stay.

From beginning to end, we have no complaints about this listing. The description is spot on and if anything, the villa is better in real life than on the photos. With 7 rooms across 2 floors and sofa beds, it can easily and comfortably host big families and friends. It is very well equipped, even with a washer and dishwasher which were super helpful, as well as with an AC in every room. The common infinity pool was relaxing and well maintained. In general, the views from anywhere on the property were phenomenal. There is a little pathway that leads to a jetty where you can swim in the sea. Cindy, the person who was in charge of our check in and our point of contact for the entire stay, remained at our disposal at all times and was very kind and helpful. Highly highly recommend this place and eager to go back myself.

I stayed at the Boutique Villa On The Rocks on the 28 July as a last minute booking and within one hour of booking, I arrived at the place. I found the hosts waiting for me while still preparing the establishment, as the last guest had just departed. It was about 18 hours and they set up a small meal for me on the outdoor garden area facing the sea with some Mauritian edible delights such as Chilli Bites and Baguettes, as the last preparations were being completed inside. While eating, I was able to enjoy the magnificent view of the sea from garden situated on a hill above. The boats returning from Ile aux Cerfs and the fisherman coming into the bay from the deep sea provided an extraordinary flare to the island atmosphere. The next morning, I had a lovely breakfast in that beautiful place. I was left awestruck by the sunrise, and the eclectic, rustic décor. After breakfast, I headed down the adventure trail towards the sea. From down there, you could really appreciate the On The Rocks aspect of the magnificent villa. From the rocks, there was a jetty projecting into the sea with steps leading into the water. Within the calm water, you could see fish among the rocks. Whilst swimming, I had the extraordinary sensation of the clashing warm and cold tides, from the salt water and the fresh water of the underwater wells respectively.Oh that s why the place was called Trou d eau douce in French. The swimming experience put together with the nicely laid out villa was an overwhelmingly delightful experience. The hosts had even allowed me to reside within the establishment until the next guest arrived at 8pm, and were kind enough to allow me to share a meal with them in the meantime. I am ever grateful to them, for my departure flight was scheduled very late at night. I highly recommend this place, especially to families -- unfortunately I, myself, was alone this time.
