Allegra Villa Alla Spiaggia - See & Hear Ocean - Luxurious

This home is beautiful. There were 7 in our group and the house accommodated all of us very well. The location is fantastic, just a short 2 minute walk to the beach and very close to the boardwalk and downtown. We had a wonderful time and would for sure do it again.

Everything is well maintained and high end. So much so, this is our 3rd year at the location.

This home is absolutely beautiful. Once you walk up the entry stairs, the entire living space is on one level, which made everything feel open and accessible. The house is very tastefully updated with high-end finishes and spectacular ocean views that truly make the stay special.The layout was perfect for our group — spacious bedrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and a generous size family room where we could all relax together. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire home was spotless, which we really appreciated.One small suggestion would be to provide a few pedestal fans. It was a warm weekend during our stay, and since the back bedrooms face a road with traffic noise, keeping the windows open wasn’t ideal.Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home in such a great area.

Everything about our stay at AVAS was perfect. The place is beautifully decorated and perfectly designed to enhance a stay in Santa Cruz. Every amenity is thoughtfully provided and of above average quality. The walk to the beach is easy, and the view from the deck is outstanding. The only problem we encountered was having to depart after only a week’s stay.

Great views of the ocean, convenient location. We had a nice relaxing time and look forward to returning!

Allegra Villa Alla Spiaggia is aptly titled. It is a happy place at the beach. Three good friends spent a few days at the place... listening to the waves from the living room while we reconnected. In addition to the dining area and living room which look out to the beach, the villa has a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The owner is easy to work with and was kind and prompt in his replies.

We’ve stayed at many properties through VRBO and this was one of our favorites. The house is very clean and the views are amazing with the sound of the ocean. We had the opportunity to meet Ed the owner and he was very personable and kind. Hope to come back in the future.

Our family stayed here while visiting friends who are local to Santa Cruz. We come from a landlocked state, so waking up each morning and looking at the ocean was amazing. You could hear the waves from the patio and we loved how comfortable, clean, and well cared for.the home is. The owner had great communication and clearly takes pride in the home and the customer service. We made several meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed- the unit is well appointed with quality appliances, technology, furniture, and decor.

The property was well set up for grandparents, our daughter and spouse and two grandchildren. The kitchen has everything one might need/ want. The living and dining room spaces are easy to use and flexible for our group. The view is great and we had a big storm to watch! The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and set with all the important things we wanted. Lots of attention to detail to make your stay feel 5 star.

This was a great place to stay. Close to all, especially walks to the beach and even to the Farmer’s Market one day. The house was roomy- great kitchen!!! Bedrooms ample size- and the master bedroom really spacious. Ed, the host, was very timely with all communication. Perhaps a few more throw blankets and extra stock of bathroom towels would have been nice. Although there is a washer and dryer in the house. Also a recommendation for more kitchen knives - we cooked a lot of our meals there. Overall, a wonderful stay!! Nice quiet neighborhood.

I’ve stayed at several places in Santa Cruz. This one is the best by far. Excellent location and the owner really takes care of this property. Everything works and the fixtures are all high-end.

This house is amazing, with beautiful hardwood floors, a fully stocked kitchen, where we cooked almost every day and lacked for no kitchen tools, good-sized bedrooms, an impressive master suite, and a beautiful 2nd story view of the Pacific ocean. From this convenient location, we were able to walk on the uncrowded beach (even on Memorial Day weekend!) multiple times a day and travel to 3 separate state parks to see the redwood forest and further views of the ocean. Wildlife has included sea lions, sea otters, seals, marmots and innumerable varieties of birds. The homeowner and property manager is experienced, professional, straightforward and very responsive. 5 stars is a rating well-earned for both the details of the stay and the overall visit.
