9 BR Lake View Villa with Pool/Spa / Game @ Solara

Great communication, reasonable price

This is a time I wish I could rate it 4.5 stars. There were just a few things that would be relatively easy to fix that kept it from being 5 stars. One challenge was the gate to the property. It was controlled by the gate house across the street and many in our party had trouble getting them to open it without first going across the street and waiting in line there. But there was also no one checking this gate to make sure the people entering should be there so we question why it even exists. The first thing we noticed when we reached the property was the scent of cleaner. This wasn't unpleasant and made us feel the house would be very clean, and it was. The space was very large and reasonably comfortable which is what we needed. The layout was great and the back yard has a pond view. The location was good and the community pool area looked nice with a great splash park for kids.The kitchen, however, was missing important things like a cutting board and baking pans (aside from 1 9x13 casserole dish). Several of the rooms need a light controlled by the switch because we had to stumble through dark rooms to turn on lights.The guest checkout instructions request us to wash the towels (at least) before we leave and includes a snarky comment that some guests don't try to do any laundry. While I understand the challenges of turning over a house this size this could be handled better (possibly rotate sheets to be washed off site or at least remove the snarky comment).

Very roomy for our 10 member family

We enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi, but my only complaint is that we should have been informed about having to pay to have them heated in advance. But overall everything else was great! I will most definitely love to visit this same property again. The bedroom me & my husband chose was excellent & the kitchen was a perfect size

Cons-This house has been beautiful at one time, it is worn out now. The carpet is gross, cooking pans are either huge or small, no serving dishes, no sharp knives, no can opener. Some of the pans are so burnt we couldn't use them. The ice maker was leaking. The towels are skimpy and small. Wifi is spotty. Pros-location is great, Solara resort is wonderful. Neighborhood is quiet, trash collection every day was the best. We made the best of it and loved having the family together.

How was up to par, only miss haps some rooms can have more lighting and the front door code didn't work but host was contacted an I was back up and running and they answered every call, will be booking again.

The only complaint I have is that we couldn’t control the a/c and the house was often HOT!

My group of golfer loved the property.. Close to golf, restaurants, and entertainment. Everyone had their owe room which is key.. The owner was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

We had 13 people in our party, and the house was perfect for us! Very spacious & comfortable. The only thing that could be improved on is a couple of amenities that are not provided. There are no hooks/towel racks in the bathrooms to hang towels and no oven mitts or potholders in the kitchen. Other than those things, the house is amazing! We greatly enjoyed our stay!

There were 17 of us who stayed in this house. There was plenty of room! We enjoyed our stay, the kids enjoyed the upstairs family/rec room while the adults enjoyed the space on the main level. The house had everything as advertised and was clean. The pool/spa was very enjoyable. I highly recommend paying for the pool heater if using during the winter months, we were there in December. We were sure happy we did! It was used everyday ;) The communication with the owner was great, I always had a response within minutes. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend booking this property.
