4 bedroom villa with private pool and garden in the center of Tavira

Central highly walkable urban location with enough privacy (ground level) due to garden size and fencing. The garden and pool are a joy. Mature exotic trees. Many birds at dawn and dusk. Tawny owl a very vocal highlight during our stay. Easy (short) walk to all Tavira attractions - river/beach boat. Cafes/Natas. Supermarket(s). Fabulous for independence (of cars and drivers) for wandering out for all family members as they wish and back from a night out. Absolutely delivers on villa holiday. Yet in a central urban location like an apt. Yes there was and will be some urban activity and thus day to day noises. Quite an unusual place to find so central. We loved it. Well supplied in a homely way for a family of 8 for self catering. Indoor or outdoor dining. Plenty of utensils for our cooking at home mostly holiday style. Vast majority of furniture in good condition given rental use. If I quibble for minor things. The portable charcoal BBQ is a bit basic and somewhat flimsy/worn - for the overall standard of the villa. But works - we used it twice and were glad to have it. Some of the patio wicker style furniture and pool pads have seen one season too many.

Great villa and great location. Only reason its not 5 stars is, for those who have been before as we have, we were not informed that a small property next to the villa would be occupied. The odd visitor walking through the property lessened the feeling of privacy this villa always had, especially when sunbathing by the pool. Didn't spoil the holiday but worth considering if thinking about booking.

Enjoyed our family get together in Tavira at Casa Adelaide . Excellent location near to town and local facilities. Pool was well used as was air conditioning ! Villa well equipped for our needs.

Such an amazing spot! ample grounds, huge pool and very well equipped kitchen. We where also left some essentials for our arrival and the supermarket is a stones throw away. I couldn't recommend this spot more for a family getaway. We will most certainly go back.

Villa was clean, comfortable and extremely spacious. Staff at Casa servico couldn’t have tried harder to make sure we had everything we needed - they get five big stars from the whole group. The villa is within easy reach of town, ferry to beach and excellent restaurants, but with the beautiful pool and grounds we didn’t feel the need to leave the house every day. Spacious villa, in beautiful, large garden grounds, complete with a fantastic saltwater pool. The property has been maintained to an extremely high standard both inside and out. The images do not do the property justice. It must be seen to be fully appreciated. Situated in a peaceful and quiet area, just a few minutes’ stroll from the historic centre of Tavira. All amenities within one minute’s walk including well-stocked supermarket and several cafe-bars - where an espresso comes in at under a euro and a flat-white just a tad more. You’d struggle to find a better location for a relaxing sunshine break on the Algarve. Tavira is a wonderful place, and, with its island beach (reached by a wonderful ferry ride down the River Gilao) it feels more like a twin-centre holiday. Property managers, Ingeburg and Emma, offered great communication, both leading up to and during our stay, and their meet and greet service, despite the late hour of our arrival, was very much appreciated. Couldn’t ask for better service. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again or to recommend it to other families and groups, both large or small. Just book it!

My husband and I, my sister and my two teenage nephews had a brilliant stay! We each had a bedroom with its own en suite and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The villa is a short walk from Tavira town centre so we went out each night to sample the wonderful restaurants but each lunchtime dined either in the lovely kitchen (table seats 8) or outside on the terrace overlooking the pool. For an ex swimmer it was great to have a pool that was big enough to swim a few strokes in in rather than just cool off and lovely to have plenty of sun loungers to choose from. It is an amazing villa - so much space, great location, all amenities you could need. I would highly recommend and will hopefully visit again in the not too distant future!

A really large single storey property close to the centre of Tavira.

We loved this villa, it’s well equipped for self catering but close enough to town to take advantage of local restaurants. The rooms are all huge, 3 have double beds and two single beds in the other room, all are en-suite. The grounds are lovely as is the pool and despite it not being heated, it was warm enough (early May). It’s in such a great location, there is a supermarket just around the corner, a waste and recycling point and a coffee shop. It’s a very traditional house with some lovely features, a huge lounge, with a massive dining table. The kitchen is quite modern, well equipped with a further dining table that’s plenty big enough. The central courtyard was a great space for drying clothes, exercising and adjoining this is a bbq area and a utility with washing machine. The managing company is very efficient, and a delight to deal with, we had a couple of minor issues but these were (almost all) dealt with quickly.
