3 bedoom 210 sqm villa with beautiful pool 6 km from Syracuse city

Our host, Vanessa welcomed us with a pasta dish which was much appreciated. She talked us through the essentials and left useful information about where to eat etc.

This was our third time. Property manager always available. Property was cleaned and swimming pool quite big and kept clean.

Absolutely wonderful 2 weeks stay at Villa Mori from start to finish! Late arrival and pasta and water waiting for us which was much appreciated! Nothing was a bother to the hosts Vanessa or Marco! Clean, spacious and beautiful villa with all you need! Would highly recommend. We had a car so hand for getting out and about to explore. Villa was private and quiet and we had a beautiful peaceful 2 weeks of family bliss!!! Sicily we will be back!

Superb! The house is extremely well done! The rooms are large; each with its own complete bathroom, tv etc. The kitchen is well equipped and living room and dining area is large and very well decorated. Villa is a good size with an amazing pool. Owners are accessible and helpful and we were provided with a fabulous pasta on our first day as well as an incredibly detailed book providing excellent information on eateries etc in the local area. As noted on other reviews the AC is a bit of a logistical juggle as it trips if used on more than one floor. Pool is amazing and we all enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location with quick access to Siracusa, key amenities and shops. Property has excellent pool, and plenty of room downstairs, including good kitchen. Bedrooms 1 & 2 on the first floor are decent size, with en suite shower/ toilet/ wash basins. Second floor, which we did not use, has good facilities but sharply sloping ceiling, only suitable for children. Only issue is the aircon, which works well but you have to choose carefully which units to run or else the fuse Trips out. We had to learn how to balance aircon and other electric device usage. Not a major issue, but worth knowing

We had a lovely stay at the villa. Vanessa was very helpful, the check in was easy and she'd even made us some delicious pasta for our first night. There is loads of space at the villa - perfect for teenagers - and the pool is brilliant. It's really big and just wonderful on a hot day. As the listing says,you will need a car but it was easy to drive into Syracuse and Noto.

My husband and I traveled with my sister and my brother-in-law, and we just wanted to get away for a week and be lazy by the pool. And that is essentially what we did! + The pool was great. + The house is beautiful. + The kitchen worked perfectly, and we cooked most meals together every day. - The only downside was the AC. When it worked, it was great, but we couldn’t have it on upstairs and downstairs at the same time. And if you’re traveling in a group, chances are someone wants to take a siesta upstairs while another is in the kitchen. Since we were there in the middle of July, the AC is kind of important. We noticed we couldn’t run the washing machine and the downstairs AC at the same time either, and the AC turns off when you leave the house. Which is understandable if everyone is leaving together, but when my husband headed out to run errands and the rest of us stayed at the house, we had to go with him to the gate first so we could let him out, and then return to activate the AC again. (The keys can’t be separated.) But all in all, we enjoyed our stay and Sicily is so worth the visit. We hope to come back one day and explore more.
