THE FIRE OF ARCHIMEDE ORTIGIA

This is great place. Spacious, close to everything, walking distance to center, shopping g, supermarket. Rooms are clean and spacious! The only problem is 25 steps up to main entrance if u have heavy luggage.

We have no complaints at all. Initially we were afraid we were at the wrong address because our host was 15 minutes late. When we realized she had been buying groceries for us, we were certainly grateful! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The laundry was handy and easy to use. The location was perfect.

Alessandra was great to deal with, very helpful and welcoming. Excellent location for everything we wanted to see and do. Close to shop for daily necessities and food. Although in a very central location, it was much quieter than expected at night. Good broadband too.

This apartment in Ortigia was amazing. Beautifully appointed throughout with great lighting and comfortable beds and linens and nice spacious bathrooms. Alessandra had left for us a large bowl of fresh fruits to welcome us as well as complementary toiletries for the bathrooms. The location was great and in minutes we walked to La Piazza Duomo or in mere seconds we walked down the street to Nostos Bistrot having a marvelous dinner al fresco. There is so much to see and do in Ortigia and this apartment was a perfect base to come home to at the end of each day. Highly recommend. Thank you Alessandra for the great stay.

The property was well positioned in Ortigia. You really couldn’t ask for a better spot. Alessandra was an excellent hostess too. Helped us with navigation to the address and recommended a couple of local restaurants to try. All in all an extremely pleasant experience. We wish we had a few more days to stay !

Great location…walking distance to restaurants and shops and main piazza! Alessandra was always available to answer questions and give recommendations! Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was spotless and well appointed. Our host was lovely, met us in person to check us in an orient us to the apartment and the neighborhood. Excellent communication. The kitchen was stocked with fresh fruit, coffee, yogurt and brioches so we could enjoy a nice breakfast. Centrally located and an easy walk to anything in Ortygia. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Two couples travelling together so apartment was perfect! One bedroom with an ensuite each at opposite ends of the apartment with well catered kitchen and small sitting area in between! Main bedroom had a lovely sitting area as well. Great communication from our host Alessandra who met us on arrival and couldn't do enough for us. Gave detailed instruction on appliances and good wifi connection. Fabulous location in the middle of Ortigya, small supermarket just around the corner and close to so many restaurants, shops, attractions and transport. Large rooms, very clean, comfortable beds. No safe in rooms but not necessary as main door to apartment double locked with a second lockable gate on the outside of door as well. Apartment entry on first floor so small flight of stairs to access. Will definitely be coming back to stay here, one of the best holiday apartments we have stayed in!
