HEATING AND COOLING:

Wren Hill features ducted heating and cooling throughout the home, including all four bedrooms. The system runs from a central thermostat, ready for cool Orange evenings and warmer summer days.

COME INSIDE THE HOME:

BNB Made Easy is a professional short-term rental property management company, so rest assured your stay at Wren Hill will be professionally managed, thoughtfully prepared, and easy to settle into. Set on 8 acres on the northern edge of Orange, the home looks out across paddock and country views, with a small mob of sheep grazing at the fence through the day. The BBQ and outdoor entertaining area are built for long alfresco lunches, and two living areas inside give families or two-couple groups room to settle in. Four bedrooms — King with ensuite, two Queens and a Double — pair ducted heating and cooling with a spa bath in the main bathroom for unwinding after a day on the wine trail. Bring fresh produce home from the Orange Farmers' Market (second Saturday monthly in Robertson Park) or pull together a platter for the patio.

THE LOCATION:

Wren Hill sits on acreage on Murphy Lane, about 10 minutes' drive north of Orange CBD.

The Orange Botanic Gardens (300 Hill St, ~6 min) cover 17 hectares of native and exotic plantings, with Eat Botanic Restaurant & Bar (302 Hill St) right next door for breakfast or dinner with Mount Canobolas views. Orange CBD itself is around 10 minutes by car, opening up Hey Rosey for wine, Lucetta for Italian and the Schoolhouse at The Union Bank for hatted dining. Coffee and brunch in town are covered by Byng Street Local Store and Groundstone (151 Byng St), both a short drive from the property.

For cellar doors, Mortimer's Wines (780 Burrendong Way) and Swinging Bridge Wines (701 The Escort Way) are both around 8 minutes out, with Highland Heritage Estate a similar drive on the Mitchell Highway. Lake Canobolas (~15 min west) is a short drive for a family picnic, and the Mount Canobolas hiking trails (~20 min south-west) are well worth a half-day.

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire property for the duration of their stay.

The Neighborhood:

Orange is a beautiful city distinguished by its gorgeous tree-lined streets, charming heritage houses and fresh local produce. Home to just over 40,000 people, this significant regional centre hosts an exciting calendar of events including festivals of food and wine, cycling, running, hot-air ballooning and poetry. Over 80 vineyards surround Orange producing distinguished cool-climate wines.

Getting Around:

Car, Uber, taxi.

Other Things to Note:

OVEN: The oven takes a few extra steps to operate. Push and hold the knob to the right of the clock, flick four times right to select fan-forced, then release to start. The oven beeps three times when it reaches temperature, and pushing and holding the same knob turns it off. A printed manual is left in the home.

PORTACOT: A portacot is provided as part of our family amenities. Please bring your own cot linen, as this is not supplied.

Interaction with Guests:

I give my guests space but am available when needed.

We had a lovely stay at Wren Hill. The property was well laid out, and the views from each of the bedrooms was pretty spectacular with rolling hills and sheep right outside the fence.

What an amazing property. If you are looking for, get away with family and/or friends and away from the Hussle and Bussle of City life and experience country living, with all the luxury and mod com's and only 10 min from Orange City, this is the place. It was amazing right from the word go. As soon we walked in, you felt right at home. It was spotlessly clean, beautiful 5-star furniture, amazing kitchen, amazing views just as you see in the photos, even better actually, true to what was described on Stayz and they were so attentive. I had a couple of questions I asked through and was answered straight away. Overall, an amazing experience. Will definitely go again and recommend to family and friends.
