The living space is really nice for a family. The kitchen is well equipped to make any kind of meal. The extra fridge in the utility room was a bonus. It has a real country feeling and the added hot tub which is maintained so well was great to unwind. They kindly left us bread, milk, butter , bread, juice and a bottle of wine. All bedrooms were lovely with lovely bedding and fluffy towels.

We had a great stay 4 adults + 4 children and the house is just perfect for it ! Quirky, spacious, lots of outdoor pace. Loved it ! The kitchen had all you could possibly need for a week. Not to mention the washing machine and tumble dryer which made everything so much easier. If I had to give a nuance I would say the bedrooms with windows on the roadside aren’t so quiet but that’s because we slept with our windows open. Truly a 10/10 stay, it was so smooth and Jamie - the owner - made everything happen, he’s just lovely. Thank you so so much !

We were a group of 6, which included 3 teenagers celebrating a birthday. The Old Post Office is a lovely property, exactly as advertised, very clean and bright. The kitchen had everything you could think of. We were also given a welcome pack of food which was a lovely surprise. . The hot tub was lovely and very well looked after and we used this during our stay. As we had a dog with us we were able to walk her in the orchard next to the property. I would certainly recommend staying at this property, hopefully we will revist.

great weekend, house & rooms were clean and stylish, beds were comfortable, views and scenery very pretty and tranquil. Hot tub fun allocation great as near to whitstable , just needs more parking space and maybe complementary shower products.

We had a lovely Christmas in the Old Post Office,, a lovely welcoming Christmas tree all lit up in the lounge and another in the dining room. Very tastefully decorated. Our party ranged from 2 - pensioners and accommodated all of us. Jamie was very friendly and helpful and on hand with anything we needed.

My family and I stayed at the lovely Old Post Office for two nights to celebrate my 30th Birthday and had a wonderful time. With close proximity to Canterbury for the restaurants, a brilliant HotTub, stunning garden and beautiful design throughout the property, it was super spacious and perfect for our stay. The tiny details of this property really add to the superb quality - the finishing touches are immaculate. This is a very beautiful house and we had an amazing time - the host was super prompt with any questions I had and really went out of his way to make it a wonderful stay. Our only two points of criticism would be that whilst we were happy to bring our own linen for the cot, we think it'd be beneficial for the property to provide a mattress for the size of the cot provided. Not having the right size mattress could be a safety risk for small infants, so whilst we were happy to bring linen - we felt that the mattress should've been provided to fit that sized cot (there were no sizes provided ahead of time). Additionally, we had a lovely young gentleman arrive on our second day to sort something for the Hot Tub - levels I think. We were aware he was planned to come - but he didn't alert us by knocking the door, instead just opened the gate to the back garden and walked through. This meant our Dobermann alerted us to him, and proceeded to retreat out of the gate. If she didn't have good recall, she could've easily ran out onto the road & been in danger. Additionally, as a guardian breed - she could've reacted instinctively and tried to defend the property / potentially put the man in danger! Next time a knock on the door or a call would be great so people can put their dogs away to allow him to do his thing.

Myself and 3 of my colleagues stayed here for a week in September in order to fulfil work commitments nearby. The accommodation was ideal for what we required, including desk space to work as well as space to relax. I would recommend the old Post Office to those in need of a space both for a holiday with family and friends but also as a convenient base if working in the area.

The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the lounge which was full of light and had plenty of space for all of us. The garden was a lovely peaceful space to relax, with the outdoor sofa, table and chairs - and of course hot tub! Shame that the weather wasn’t nice enough for us to use it to use it as much as we’d like. The location was fab, with The Dove pub only a few minutes walk away although worth bearing in mind that it is only open Thu-Sun! The Red Lion a mile away was great too. We were also impressed that the hot tub was checked daily, and really appreciated the electric charging point. (Couple of points to note - it might have been nice for shower gel/shampoo etc to have been included at that price point. Also we couldn’t find a cheese grater or corkscrew - kitchen was very well equipped otherwise.)

Old Post Office was a really good place for a break. Rural location, quiet, ideal for dogs, roomy, airy, comfortable with every amenity provided including a hot tub, and a Nespresso coffee pod machine. Excellent kitchen facilities; comfortable, large sitting room ; big dining room and four excellent bedrooms. Clean bathroom, shower rooms. The garden was great for wandering around and plenty of room for dogs to run about, though secure. The outdoor furniture was top notch. Just sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine ( first bottle provided) listening to the birds was magical. As you can tell we loved this house. We did have to be a little careful going up and down stairs ( we were oldies) as the bottom 2 stairs had a variation in height. Canterbury, Whitstable within easy reach for trips out and plenty of eating places round and about. Thoroughly recommend. Jamie, the owner very helpful.
