Log cabin surrounded by nature,l and in easy reach of all beaches and sights. Our two labradors both loved it but are completely worn out. We will be back! Thank you all. Mr & Mrs Kelly.

Stayed Apr 22, 2025Had a wonderful time at Lekido. Firstly what a lovely family, very friendly & made us feel so welcome. The cabin is so cosy and has everything you need. Fresh eggs for breakfast… delicious! Great to be able to mix with the animals any time you wanted. We had daily visits from Fred the resident Dove - the fact that Fred is free to leave and chooses to stay shows what a wonderful place this is.If you love animals this is the place to go. There’s lots to do nearby or you can just relax at the farm. Will be recommending to all my friends & will 100% be returning.Thank you Ian & Nikki for a fabulous break â¤ï¸

Stayed Oct 1, 2024We had a lovely, restorative stay at this unusual property. The cabin is clean, well-equipped and a good size. The kitchen is thoughtfully designed and easy to prepare meals in, there is plenty of hot water and a decent shower, the log burner is easy to use and plenty of logs are provided, and the mattress on the bed is superb - everything you need for a comfy and cosy stay. The most special thing about Lekido, though, is the setting: the cabin is surrounded on one side by tall tree trunks (a Scandi forest feeling) whilst on the other side are all the other inhabitants of this wonderful smallholding: rescued hens, geese, ducks, goats, sheep, donkeys, with whom you can interact freely. Ian and Nikki are superb hosts: Ian welcomed us, showed us around and introduced us to all the animals. He was always ready to help if needed, but managed this without being intrusive; he respected our privacy. You have your own space and can just enjoy living alongside all the animals. What Ian and Nikki have created here is very special - a utopian space and a sanctuary for all kinds of animals (including humans). There is traffic noise from the nearby A2, so it's not an isolated 'middle of nowhere' location - but the upside of that is that it's convenient to visit Canterbury, Faversham and other locations. If you love animals, you will love Lekido. Thank you to Ian, Nikki, the animals and the hens & ducks who laid our tasty breakfast eggs!

Stayed Jun 15, 2024This is an amazing place to stay, the host is the most wanderful gentleman you will ever meet. The lodge is clean, spacious and in an excellent location based on a small holding farm. The animals are right next to the lodge giving you all out experience with thhe farm animals. The only down side for us was a week wasn't long enough, it really is one brilliant place to stay. Ian and his family really do out of their way for you to make you welcome and relaxed. The location is brilliant for Faversham and all the Kent coast, local walks are on your door step, and the coast is 15 mins away by car and very easy to reach.
